20 : The Past Life

Hudson sat in the garden alone, he was clad on an armless top and a short, he had a lighter in one of his hands, while playing with a cigarette with his other free hand, moving it across his lips, inserting it in and out of his mouth, he seemed lost in space, staring at a blank space, it was evident that he was lost in his thought. He didn’t even notice the approaching footsteps that were behind him.

He felt a hand grab his shoulders, he jolted out of his thoughts and turned back as fast as he could.

Bethel was staring down at him with a smile on his face, Hudson let out a deep sigh and returned back to his former position, resuming what he was doing before.

He inserted the cigarette back into the pack and placed it in between his laps.
