Taron sat across the Niels, who owned some of the biggest companies in Europe, and had substantial shares in Hong Kong. They looked like a good mix between the Chinese and the English, and they seemed like they were waiting for him to speak first, for some reason.

“There was a lot of traffic on the way here, have you ordered anything yet?” Taron said, although he was on time, but he wanted to make the talk light.

Mr Neil smiled at him. “No, actually, we had some trouble getting here too, you came in just about two minutes after us.”

“Yes, and besides, it would be very unbecoming of us if we ordered some food when you were not here yet.” Mrs Neil shot her husband a glare, and Taron understood that he wanted to order something beforehand, but his wife had stopped him.

“I was hungry, you cannot blame me for being hungry.” Mr Neil tried to defend himself.

“You had food just before you left home!” Mrs Neil said, taking her hand fan and whacking him on the head.
