CHAPTER 27

James Garrick was nervous and it was obvious. He was aware of that, so he resented himself for wearing his emotions on his sleeve. He had come with a proposal for Taron, and if he did not look like he believed in what he wanted to say, how would he get Taron to believe in it? He fished out a white handkerchief and wiped the sweat from his forehead. Taron sat, looking uninterested and disconnected from his surroundings. James Garrick had called without setting up an appointment, but luckily, Taron happened to be free enough to hold a short conversation with him. “Give me two minutes.” Taron said, typing away at his screen. James used that time to go over the words in his head.
