“Dear God, what have I done?” Eloise whispered as she watched her son leave. “You just got engaged to me, baby!” Anthony laughed heartily and lifted Eloise up. “Tony, stop it, now is not the time.” Anthony then noticed how down Eloise seemed so he put her down and drew himself closer to her. “What’s wrong, baby? Was it something I did?” Anthony asked. “No, actually, not directly at least.” Eloise replied in a low voice. Anthony looked around the crowd and grinned. “Happy engagement to us once again, invites to the engagement party would be sent, so until then, have fun! The burial is over.” Anthony carried Eloise out and put her in his car before placing a call to one of his men. “We are going somewhere, have the rest of the family go home, alright?” Then he cut the call. “What’s wrong now? Won’t you tell me?” Anthony asked, and Eloise sighed, looking out the window. “It’s my son, Anthony, he is not happy with me.” Eloise shook her head as she felt tears well
“Taron!” Eloise screamed, banging on the door. “Taron! Open this door right now.” Immediately she woke up, she rushed out of Anthony’s mansion and declined breakfast, stating that she wanted to see her son. Anthony drove Eloise to Taron’s mansion after giving her an energy bar. “Taron!” Eloise shouted once more and Taron opened the door. “I don’t think pounding on my study door is the best thing to do, you almost woke Rebecca.” Taron said angrily and shut the door gently behind him. “My son, we need to talk.” Eloise said, walking after him. Taron turned back sharply and pointed a finger in Eloise’s face. “Don’t you dare to use that card on me, just call me Taron, I’m well aware of the fact that you gave birth to me.” Eloise was speechless for a few seconds before she slapped Taron’s finger out of the way. “Don’t you dare wag your finger at me, you unruly boy.” Taron continued to walk out of the space with Eloise hot on her heels behind him. “Taron, we are well out
Selena went all the way up to Taron’s office. She had not seen or heard from Taron in a while, but she felt that it was better that way, as that she like give her the mysterious aura she was aiming for. She was dressed in a white body con dress and left her hair to fall free behind her shoulders. She even did the angelic makeup, just for the sake of it. “Taron baby, I’m going to win you back.” She said, swinging her hips. Then she opened the door.- “You’re starting to become very important to me.” Taron murmured. “Wow sir, so I was not important to you before?” Rebecca grinned, placing a hand on her chest. “You know what I mean, dear Personal assistant, you’re making it easier to forget sometimes.” Taron grinned at her and pressed her body well into his. “And you are so soft.” He sighed, breathing in her scent. “Definitely not a crocodile, then.” She said. Taron looked up at her. “You’re so weird, but you’re right.” He said, chuckling. “I know, right?” She g
“I can’t believe that he had the audacity to do that behind my back!” She hissed, striding around the place. “Do what?” The guy in front of her asked. Whatever his name was. “He was kissing her when I walked in! Kissing her!” Selena yelled, grabbing the boy. The boy shrugged. “Well, shouldn’t you have knocked first?” “He used to be my boyfriend! I did not have to knock or anything.” She grunted and left his collar before she continued to pace. “You still have not told me what you want me to do for you, ma’am.” The boy said, trying his best to stabilize his hurting neck. Selena had a strong grip, that was for sure. “I need information! Find them, and let me know about what’s going on in their lives!” Selena said. “Not if you have not given me any information about them, I can’t.” The boy shrugged. “I brought his file here before.” Selena said. “Yeah, you’d still have to bring a different one, or we can make one for you for three hundred dollars,” The boy grin
Taron sat behind his large desk while fingers tapping against the smooth surface as he reviewed the reports that were sent out to him. He sighed, as he struggled to focus on work while thinking about other things. Other things being, his mother, first of all, and Rebecca. Taron wondered if Eloise was ever going to come back, and what it was between him and Rebecca. Obviously, since the Selena incident, they had not been able to get to the level of friendliness that they were at before, but Taron had accepted it as what it was. He knew that he told her that it was okay, which it was, but it seemed like his head was finding it difficult to adjust to what he had said. Taron glanced at the clock on the wall, realizing he was supposed to have a meeting with Rebecca in a few minutes. Before things became weird, Rebecca would have come in at least ten minutes earlier in preparation, but she did not do that this time. There was a gentle knock on the door and Rebecca entered, carryin
Taron leaned back with a large grin on his face. “That is so wonderful, James, I'm happy that you have decided to do that.” Taron said. “Well, I only thought about what you said at first, and it made sense,” James said. “I didn't want to do it, but your story and everything had me rethinking my terrible decision.” Taron nodded, remembering his mother. “I'm glad that my story touched you, at least.” “Now, here is the thing,” James took in a deep breath. “after I cut my son off, I lost contact with him and I need to find him again.” Taron raised a brow. He did not know where Steve was, if that was what James Garrick was asking. “Okay, and ?” Taron asked. “I was wondering if you knew where he was so that I could be able to do what I need to do.” James Garrick said and Taron looked away. “I'm sorry, James, but I don't know where your son is.” Suddenly, someone knocked on the door and Taron got a phone call from Rebecca. “Rebecca?” Taron asked. “What's going on?”
Taron had decided to take a day off when he received a phone call. And not just one, multiple phone calls like he had decided to go off with someone’s head and the person’s family members were trying to pick a bone with him. He turned around in his bed and picked up the phone to see that it was in fact Selena who had been calling him like her life depended on it. Taron called her back and put the phone to his ear. “What is wrong with you? Why do you keep on calling me like I stole your child?” “You are a very useless man, Taron, and I feel bad for whoever it is that is related to you.” Selena started and Taron cut the call. He had no interest in listening to whatever it was she was going to say. Selena called back and he picked it. “How dare you cut the call on me?” “Well, Selena, if I was going to receive insults from you, I’d rather not have it read on my account, so yes, you can speak while you call,” Taron said nonchalantly. “I’m trying to sleep, you have two minutes.”
Eloise was missing her son terribly. And for some reason, Taron was still not on talking terms with his mother, again. Anthony was not at peace. He was in love with Eloise and seeing her mope a lot because her son could not open his eyes to see the reality of the situation was seriously pissing him off. “I can go and talk to him, he’s not a child anymore.” Anthony said to Eloise who shook her head. “No Anthony, you would not understand his anger and you would think that he is being too childish, but I understand what he is feeling.” Eloise would always say each time Anthony tried to step in. Eloise called Taron this time and he picked up the phone. “Mother,” Taron replied from the other end. He was going to call her, but since she had called first, he had better made good use of it. “how are you doing?” “I’m okay, baby, but I miss you so much,” Eloise said, her voice going down to a whisper. “why are you still not talking to me? I’m your mother, you know?” “Is Antho
