At Annie’s funeral, Liam can see that Cassandra is trying hard to intimidate him. He only laughs it off and continues to listen to the pastor.

When Liam goes up to say a few words, he can see Cassandra shaking her head and saying something to the woman beside her. He knows he isn’t welcome by them, but either way, aunt or not, Annie had been a tremendous help to him.

At the gravesite, Cassandra approaches Liam.

‘’Why did you even show up?’’

‘’She is my aunt; I don’t know what your problem is, but you can’t stop me from being here.’’

Cassandra scoffs. ‘’You didn’t even know she was your aunt until a few days ago.’’

‘’Does that make any difference? Let’s not do this here, because I can see that you are trying to be something that you are not, and Annie wouldn’t want anyone to be fighting at her funeral.’’

Liam touches her shoulder and walks away.
