Declan couldn't believe it. He had never been ignored like this before, especially not in a place like a bank. Declan was furious and couldn't help but think of a way to get back at Nathan.

Declan had a sudden idea and started laughing. He turned to the manager and said, "You know, Nathan's not as rich as you think. He makes a living by cleaning at others house."

Sensing Declan's plan, Hayleigh added, "I think you should check his bank account more carefully. I have a feeling something's not right."

The manager and the staff needed clarification. How could someone with a hundred million dollars in their bank account be a cleaner?

But Declan had a card up his sleeve. He pulled out a black card and handed it to the manager.

Hayleigh: "Wow, a black card? It's awe-inspiring."

Declan said as he turned his head to look at Nathan with expressive eyes: "I'm glad you appreciate it. It's not easy to come by, you know. Only those with 200 million dollars in their account got this card."

The manager thinks for a moment, weighing his options. He knows Nathan has a large amount of money in his account, but it's still suspicious. It's most likely money Nathan stole from someone. On the other hand, Declan's black card is a sign of even greater wealth.

Ultimately, the manager couldn't help choosing Declan as the more valuable customer: "I apologise for not receiving you well enough. Please let me know how I can assist you today, sir."

Declan: "Well, I can leave my work for later. I want to check on a friend's account now. Nathan over there, I heard he has a hundred million dollars in his account. But I have my doubts."

The manager is also looking to corroborate that amount. Although the likelihood of this happening is very low, there is no reason not to check for sure: "I see. I'll look into it for you immediately. Please wait here."

Hayleigh: "I can't believe it, Declan. You're so powerful."

Declan knew that, technically, he didn't have that much money himself. It was just his father's card that he had borrowed without permission.

He sees the look of respect and awe on the faces of the staff. He couldn't help but feel satisfaction as he watched Nathan.

He said: "It's nothing, Hayleigh. It's just a black card, and I don't just have one. Nathan, on the other hand…."

Declan sneered at Nathan, "Looks like you're not as rich as you claim to be, Nathan. I know you're just a janitor cleaner. I met you when you were hired to clean my friend's house. And now it seems you're trying to trick the bank with fake money."

The staff and customers in the bank were now looking at Nathan with confusion and suspicion.

Hayleigh feigned innocence and replied, "Who knows, Declan? Maybe Nathan got another job collecting junk and was lucky enough to find diamonds?"

Both laughed loudly.

Nathan glared at them, his anger and frustration evident on his face.

Then, a polite employee gestured toward the lounge couch and asked if they would like to take a seat while they waited. Without hesitation, all three of them followed the staff's instructions.

"I bet he's just a fraud," Declan said with a smirk. "I bet he doesn't have any money at all."

Hayleigh snickered, "I wouldn't be surprised. Have you shown how he dresses? He doesn't have any taste."

"Hayleigh, you don't have the right to judge my clothes. Declan, please stop making fun of me. I deserve some respect." Nathan said firmly. However, Hayleigh and Declan were too caught up in their cruel game and continued to mock Nathan.

"Come on, Nathan, it's not that bad. We're just having a bit of fun," Declan said with a smirk.

Hayleigh added, "Yeah, you should have seen the look on your face when we pulled out our black cards. Priceless."

Nathan found the joke boring, but perhaps not with Declan and Hayleigh. On the contrary, they were even more eager to wait and see him humiliated.

Declan eagerly suggested, "We should make a video of this and post it online."

Hayleigh enthusiastically agreed, "That's a great idea! We could call it 'Poor Nathan tries to trick the bank.'"

Declan excitedly added, "And we could make it go viral. Imagine all the fame we would get."

Hayleigh eagerly exclaimed, "I can't wait to see it."

As Declan and Hayleigh were whispering about the perfect plan, the manager was out of the office.

"Nathan, I'm afraid there's a problem with your account," the manager said as he emerged from his office. "I need you to go to my office, and we'll sort this out."

Declan couldn't contain his laughter, "Ha! I knew it! Nathan, you fraud!"

With embarrassment, Nathan felt his face turn red, "I-I don't understand. My account has always been in good standing."

The manager shook his head, "I'm sorry, Nathan. But we'll need to investigate further. Please come with me."

Hayleigh shook her head with regret, "It's unfortunate that the manager didn't make the announcement publicly. Now, we can't just go into the office and make a video about it."

Declan quickly comforted her, "Don't worry, tomorrow the whole school will know he's trying to cheat the bank. The results are all the same, honey."

My name is Rory Heath, and I am the manager of this branch. I had to verify your identity because this account belongs to the Jimenez family." Nathan asked: "Okay. What do I need to do?" Rory Heat is not showing any emotion in his tone: "To verify your identity, I will need to see a government-issued identification card such as a driver's license or passport.” Nathan handed the identity card over to Rory Heat, who took it and inspected it visually to ensure that it was valid and that the photograph matched Nathan's face. Rory Heat said: “Now, I will be using a specialized ID scanner to extract your personal information from your ID card and verify it against our bank's records." Nathan nodded: "Okay, got it." Rory Heat then asked Nathan to provide a signature, and he compared it to the signature on the ID and

That's ridiculous!" He couldn't accept losing, moreover, doing such a humiliating thing. "It's not ridiculous. It's necessary," Nathan replied. Declan hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Fine." He added more to the deal. "And if you're found to be a scam, not only do you have to spend half of your life to spend one million dollars for me, but you also have to slap your face ten times in front of everyone as a symbol of your apology."
