Liam wanted to avoid anything that would bring conflict or attention to him, but it was now going to be hard since Jeremy had pushed him to the edge. He was not going to let him go that easily, he was not going to let this slide.
Jeremy looked up as he saw Liam walking up to him, there was no telling what was on his mind but it was clear that he was not going to let him walk away with what he had done.
“You think that I will let you hurt me? I will make sure that nothing is going to let you walk away from this place without paying for this insult.” Jeremy threatened he was not going to let Liam walk away.
Liam looked at the beads on the floor, he was not going to forgive Jeremy that easily. “You ruined the only thing that reminded me of my family, you think that there is going to be any chance you will be walking out of this with all your limbs.”
Liam began walking up to Jeremy, he looked like he was going to be killing him there and then. “You know that there is no way you will talk yourself out of this one and I will make sure that there is no one going to stop me from roughing you up.”
Liam was walking towards Jeremy when the men who were standing by Jeremy came forward blocking him. “I see you don't value the life you are living, I know you think that you protecting the man-child over there but the only thing you are doing is pissing me off. So leave my front this instance,”
Liam was not happy that someone was blocking him from exacting revenge on Jeremy, he was not going to be holding anything back and it was going to be a beat down that they would need to understand what they were messing with.
The guards looked at each other before laughing a bit, it was clear that nothing was stopping Liam but they wondered what kind of man he was to think that they would back down if he threatened them.
“You must be out of your mind to think that you are going to be the one to make us scared. For what it is you are only one man and there are three of us,
“There is no way you will even think that it would be easy for you to survive.” The men were looking at Liam waiting for him to react and do something, that would put him down for a while.
But Liam didn't even act like he was being pushed to do anything, he wanted to take out his anger on Jeremy and nothing was going to stop him from doing that.
“I warned you,” Liam took a stance, he walked over to the guards, and in a blink of an eye he took out two with blows.
He took out the remaining one with a kick, they were looking at him and they couldn't even believe that someone could be able to move like that.
Jeremy was shocked to see that Liam was able to move like a ghost, he had never imagined that Liam was capable of doing something like that.
The guards that he had brought to protect him and help beat up Liam were all taken down, Liam was looking at him with anger in his heart.
“You thought that bringing them here would make you invincible? You are not safe until I make sure that you see what you have done wrong here!” Liam raised his hand, he was about to hit Jeremy when a set of cars pulled up.
They were limited edition Rolls Royce, it was clearly someone of class and they were there to do something important. Liam paused and looked back to see who it was, a faint smile was on his face.
Liam turned to look at Jeremy, “You must have a little bit of good faith, there is no way I would have let you go if he didn't show up here.” Liam said with a smirk on his face, he knew who had come in the car. He was not going to be wasting his time with someone like Jeremy, he wanted to pound him but he had to hold back the urge.
The doors of the car opened and a man dressed in a brown suit came down, he looked like a very important figure in the city. He had a smile on his face, he walked towards Liam.
“Here I thought you might even come with guards like before, you never cease to surprise me, Barry.” Liam dusted himself as he walked over to the man, he had a smile on his face.
The bystanders were all in shock when they saw Liam greeting the man.
“Hey, that's the Legendary Barry Wykes, he is the third most feared man in TetraVille. What is that man doing with him?!”
“He is talking to him like they know each other, this is mind-blowing.” Everyone present was fascinated that they were able to see someone as powerful as Barry standing there with them like there was something he had to do.
“You know you’re late right?” Liam was a bit pissed off, he was not going to be having it easy knowing that he was meant to leave that place.
“I am so sorry, something came up and I was trying to make sure that there was nothing in the wrong place.” Barry had a smile on his face, he walked to Liam and bowed his head.
“Sorry for wasting your time Lord Grayson,” Barry said with a smile on his face, everyone present was a bit shocked and surprised that there was someone amongst them who could make Barry bow his head.
“Who in the world is this man?” The people standing there were all shocked to see something like that happening and they were sure that it was not something odd.
For Barry Wykes to bow his head to Liam, meant that he was someone important and there was no way they would have even imagined it.
Jeremy who was still recovering from the blows Liam gave him. He looked at Liam talking with Barry, his heart boiled when he saw it happening.
He didn't want to know what was happening but he was not in any way happy that Liam was speaking to Barry Wykes, it was like he was not even relevant to the whole situation.
“How dare you?! I don't care what lie you told him I will make sure you pay for this insult!” Jeremy began walking to Liam, he took out a pistol pointing it to Liam he was about to pull the trigger.
“Die!” Jeremy yelled before he tried shooting, but before he could do anything else. Barry kicked the gun out of his hand, landing a deadly blow on Jeremy’s chest.
“You have the balls to point a gun at Lord Grayson? You need to die here!” Barry was choking Jeremy, he was not going to let him go.
The bystanders were a bit scared when they saw that Bary was hovering over Jeremy like he was nothing to them.
“Please let the lad go, Barry, we are late as it is. And killing him will only make matters worse.” Liam said he had a low tone.
“But my Liege this ingrate wanted to shoot you! I should execute him now!” Barry was insisting, he was not going to let Jeremy walk away. But it seemed like Liam was not having any of it.
“And I said let him go. I don't want us to be late just because you wanted to make someone pay for something they did.” Liam sounded serious.
Barry looked at him, he saw that nothing was showing that he was joking for a bit. “Alright, I will let him go,” Barry said before releasing Jeremy. It was a bit relieving for Jeremy, he thought for a moment there that he was going to be killed.
Liam walked over, he looked at Jeremy who was on the floor. “Now, why don't you go work on your people skills? That might come in handy for you since your little tongue dioesnt have any sensor.” Liam smiled before he turned away, he was not going to waste time there. He turned to Barry before walking over to him, “You better have prepared something for me, you wasted my time here.” Liam said as he boarded the car.
“Don't worry Lord Grayson, I had something spectacular prepared for you.” Barry joined Liam in the car, the engines were fired up and they left the scene.
Everyone standing there including Jeremy was dumbfounded, they couldn't believe that someone like Barry would call Liam. ‘My liege.’
Liam was sitting in the car looking out the window as a thought crossed his mind. He looked at the broken bracelet in his hand, He didn't know what he was going to do but he was going to make it come back to normal. “I made a little mistake not letting you finish that imp off for ruining this.” Liam looked at the bracelet, he was a bit angry and there was no way he would even want to think that he had lost the only thing he could use to remember his mother. “Well you don't want our first wrap to be murder now do you?” Barry teased as he drove Liam, “I can't tell you how thrilled the partners were when I told them that you will be meeting them today. We are going to be seeing them at the venue I have prepared.” Barry was looking at Liam through the rearview mirror, he could see that something was bothering him. “Well, they will be shocked that I decided to come back after such a long time. This will be more like a shock to them than anything they have seen for a long time.” Liam sat
Liam was looking at them, he said nothing but just stood there and glared at the men knowing that they were not going to find it easy to let the girl go. “You know, some people would see a sight like this and act like they didn't see anything, but I see that you don’t even care what is going to happen. Do you?” One of the goons looked at Liam, he was a bit surprised that there was even a chance that someone was looking at them like he could do anything to them. “I don’t like bullies, that’s one thing I don’t like and you seem to be holding a poor lady who seems to be fighting to avoid you so why don’t you let her go and I will make sure that I look the other way.” Liam smiled, he was hoping that he wouldn’t have to hurt anyone and they didn’t look like the type of people who would want to stand down. The goons looked at each other and laughed hysterically, Liam to them was putting up a show and they were watching him with a bit of confusion in their minds. “You have ten seconds to
Liam and Barry walked into the hotel, they walked side by side like they were brothers. Liam had a smile on his face, the walk made him remember the days before he decided to put his sword down. He and Barry were known as the Duo of Terror, they alone were enough to take down fifty men and it was something that no one could take from them. Liam was not in any way an easy opponent that anyone would want to be stuck with. He was a terrifying being that lands and nations feared, he had become a Lord at an age proving to be one of the most feared men in the world. But then he had enough of that sort of life and wanted to lay low to make sure that there was no way anyone would cause him more headaches, he wanted a simple life with a family that would be with him. That was what made him marry Monica, he planned that he was going to take his time to spoil her. But then Monica didn't want to spend her life with someone who she thought was a bum. Both of them reached the room where the me
A taxi pulled up in front of a well-illuminated building, it was a five-star building and one for the average wealthy class of Keston City. Someone stepped out of the taxi, dressed in a brown suit. His black hair was well aligned with his face, and he stood tall with a big smile on his face showing that he was happy to be there. Liam Grayson had gotten a call from his wife Monica Porter Grayson. She told him to come to her office, she had an urgent message. “Well now, let's find out what my beloved has installed for me.” Liam smiled, he knew that it was their third anniversary. Liam was sure that Monica had planned to surprise him with something, in his hand was a gift wrapped with expensive wrappings. ‘I think it is time for me to tell her who I truly am, all this hiding won't do.’ Liam smiled as he walked into the building, he was looking around as he saw that everywhere was decorated to a particular taste. Liam’s wife Monica was the rising star of Keston City, she was called a
Liam was happy that his wife had shown up to the office, he looked at her with a smile on his face. “Monica, you're finally here.” He brought out the papers and showed Monica. “Your assistant showed me this paper saying that you said you wanted a divorce. Like you would tell someone to break the news of divorce to me like this.” Liam was looking at Monica, his wife was oddly quiet. “Mon, is anything wrong?” Monica Potter had become Keston city's third-biggest businesswoman, she was different and there was nothing she couldn't do. But she had one problem, her husband was a nobody. Liam Grayson was someone that the entire city didn't even know where he came from. They all knew that he was the one who made sure that he brought Monica her lunch and other things she needed. He was nothing other than Monica's foot servant. Monica looked at Liam, but she didn't say anything. After taking a deep breath she looked at Liam, with a cold look on her face. “Why would you think that it's a j
Liam put on the bracelet that he had collected from Monica, he was about to leave the company trying to make sure that nothing was going to hold him there with them for another minute. Liam walked out and bumped into someone, he didn't even know why something like that had happened but he was not going to be there to waste time. “I am sorry, please i was in a hurry.” Liam formally apologized for bumping into the person, he looked up and he saw none other than his ex-wife's mother. “Mother?” Liam called out trying to make sure he helped her, but the lady hit his hand off. “I have told you that there should never be a time in your life that you will call or refer to me as mother but you don't seem to understand a thing,” Laura said looking at Liam with pure disgust in her eyes, she wondered what her daughter saw in him that made her not want to leave the man. “You seem to have come here to bother my beloved Monica with your bad presence, when will you learn that she is not in your
