Chapter 6

Liam was looking at them, he said nothing but just stood there and glared at the men knowing that they were not going to find it easy to let the girl go.

“You know, some people would see a sight like this and act like they didn't see anything, but I see that you don’t even care what is going to happen. Do you?” One of the goons looked at Liam, he was a bit surprised that there was even a chance that someone was looking at them like he could do anything to them.

“I don’t like bullies, that’s one thing I don’t like and you seem to be holding a poor lady who seems to be fighting to avoid you so why don’t you let her go and I will make sure that I look the other way.” Liam smiled, he was hoping that he wouldn’t have to hurt anyone and they didn’t look like the type of people who would want to stand down.

The goons looked at each other and laughed hysterically, Liam to them was putting up a show and they were watching him with a bit of confusion in their minds. “You have ten seconds to scram or we are going to bash your skull till we can see your goonie brain matter.”

One of the goons raised a crowbar threatening Liam, they wanted to make sure that they were going to make him feel scared and that there was no way he would even stand there to do anything.

Liam’s smirk disappeared when he heard their threat, he slowly took off his suit and threw it to the side. “You know, I had a pretty bad day and I wanted to just pray that no one will be on the bad side of my anger. But the four of you are going to learn something.”

Liam cracked his knuckles looking at them with a clear death state. “I am going to teach you something that I learned long ago, manners maketh a man,” Liam said, taking a stance and waiting for them to attack.

The men saw that he was not even trying to escape and they knew that it was going to be hard for them to even think of running away.

“Break his legs!” One of the goons yelled looking at Liam, three of the men rushed towards Liam in full force.

Liam looked at their hands seeing that each of them had a lethal weapon in their hands, he didn’t waste time to disarm them and in a flash, he delivered blows and kicks.

The men fell to the floor stunned and unconscious, Liam stood over them like a predator looking over his prey he was not going to let them walk away. The last man holding the lady was scared to his pants, he was not sure that there was even a possible explanation for what he was looking at it was not even meant to be that potential for a human being to be able to take down men that were that strong.

“You better stay back,” The man said as he pulled out a gun, he was looking at Liam his legs were shaking and it was clear that there was no telling what would happen to him if he was to do anything a bit wrong.

“I will shoot you and I will make sure that you die.” The man pointed the gun at Liam, he was going to pull the trigger but he was not sure if it was the best thing to do.

Liam looked at him, he was not sure what it was he was going to do to the man but he was going to be ending his life there and then if there was a scratch on the woman. “Guns are used to show off these days, I don't fear those things if you want to make me scared…” In the flash of an eye, Liam had closed the distance and made sure he was in front of the goon.

“You would have shot me the second you pulled this shit out,” Liam said before landing a hit on the man’s neck knocking him out cold, it was like a scene from a movie but Liam had moved in an unreal and dangerously fast way.

The lady was stunned to see Liam standing in front of her, she was not syre if there was meant to be anyone moving like that. She was not even sure what she was going to say to him.

“Are you okay?” Liam asked breaking the silence, he looked at her and there was no sign that there was no chance he would be worrying about her and then he would be sure that he could leave.

“Uhmm, I am okay thank you for saving me.” The lady spoke up, she was looking at Liam. She was not sure that there was an explanation she would be able to give him. “Who are you? I know you must be someone important and there is no way I can pay you for what you have done for me.”

Liam didn't want to say anything or even take the card but he knew that there was no way he would be able to leave if he didn't take what she was trying to give him.

“Thank you, please be more careful.” Liam smiled when he took the card from her, it was then that she smiled a bit then turned to leave. She didn't waste to walking away making sure that she was not going to be caught again.

Liam smiled a bit and looked at the card. ‘Ava Krigg..’ was scribbled on the card, he was surprised because he didn't know who she was nor had he even come across it anywhere.

‘Must be some kind of hot shot, might look into her later.’ Liam put the card into his pocket and walked back to the car.

He stood there and looked around to see Barry coming back. Barry had a smile on his face, Liam knew that he had finished everything and he was ready to take him in and make sure that nothing was going to happen.

“You're smiling cheerfully, that's way out of your character,” Liam said looking at Barry and waiting for him to say what had happened.

“I just found a nice spot for you to sit down and get some food and maybe rest later. The partners will be arriving soon enough,” Barry said with a smile on his face, he was not even trying to make a mistake that would make Liam pissed off.

“I know you think that there is no way for me to handle their arguments, I know you have warned them and I will have to make sure that they see that nothing is going to make me take any other insult,” Liam said as both he and Barry walked into the hotel.
