Elena nodded, trying to remember every detail. "They took him away in a black SUV," she said. "I didn't see which direction they went in, but I think they might have gone towards the city center."

Marcus nodded, his eyes narrowing as he thought. "I'll get some people to start canvassing the area, see if anyone saw anything," he said. "In the meantime, I want you to stay here with Sarah and stay safe. We'll do everything we can to find Alex and bring him home to you."

Marcus's expression softened as he looked at Elena. "Don't worry, we'll do everything we can to find Alex and bring him home safely," he said. "Can you tell me more about what happened when he was taken? Did you see which direction they went in?"

Marcus pulled out his phone and started dialing a number. "I'm going to get some people to start searching for Alex," he said. "We'll check with the local hospitals, police stations, and see if anyone has seen him."

Elena nodded, feeling a sense of hope that they might actually find Alex. She watched as Marcus spoke to someone on the phone, his expression serious and focused.

After a few minutes, Marcus hung up the phone and turned to Elena. "I've got some people on it," he said. "We'll do everything we can to find Alex and bring him home to you."

Elena smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Marcus. "Thank you, Marcus," she said. "I really appreciate your help."

Marcus nodded, his expression softening. "Don't worry, Elena," he said. "We'll find Alex. I promise."

Marcus pulled out his phone and started dialing a number. "I'm going to get some people to start searching for Alex," he said. "I'd call in my partners, to search every nook and cranny. Every abandoned building, all would be searched, till he is found!"

Elena nodded, feeling a sense of hope that they might actually find Alex. She watched as Marcus spoke to someone on the phone, his expression serious and focused.

After a few minutes, Marcus hung up the phone and turned to Elena. "Five of my partners have been sent to the outskirts of the city. Alex would be found at all cost".

Marcus nodded, his expression softening. "Don't worry, Elena," he said. "We'll find Alex. I promise."

Alex groggily opened his eyes, his head pounding with a dull ache. He was disoriented, unsure of where he was or how he got there. As his vision cleared, he saw that he was in a dimly lit warehouse, the walls lined with crates and boxes.

Suddenly, a voice echoed through the warehouse, making Alex's heart skip a beat. "You think you can run?" the voice sneered. "You wanted to hide, and you went to a friend's place? Foolish of you."

Alex's eyes scanned the warehouse, trying to locate the source of the voice. That's when he saw him - Mr. Smith, standing in front of him with a smug expression on his face.

Alex tried to speak, but his voice was hoarse and barely audible. He tried to move, but his body felt heavy and unresponsive.

Mr. Smith's expression turned even more sinister as he took a step closer to Alex. "You're a clever boy, Alex," he said, his voice dripping with venom. "But you're also very foolish. You see, you've taken my daughter, Elena's heart. And that's something I will not tolerate."

"You're not good enough for my daughter," Mr. Smith spat. "You're just a poor, insignificant boy who thinks he can just waltz into our lives and steal my daughter's heart. Well, let me tell you something, Alex. That's not going to happen. Not while I'm still breathing."

Mr. Smith's face twisted with anger as he glared at Alex. "You're going to regret ever crossing me, Alex," he snarled. "You're going to regret ever laying eyes on my daughter."

Alex tried to struggle, but his body was still weak and unresponsive. He was trapped, unable to defend himself against Mr. Smith's wrath.

Just as Mr. Smith was about to deliver the final blow, one of his goons spoke up. "Sir, I think we should be careful," he said. "We don't want to leave any... evidence behind."

Mr. Smith's expression faltered for a moment, and Alex saw a glimmer of uncertainty in his eyes. But then his face hardened again, and he nodded. "You're right," he said. "We'll take him somewhere else. Somewhere where no one will ever find him."

Alex's heart sank as he realized he was about to be taken away, possibly forever. He thought of Elena, and how she would never know his whereabouts. He thought of his friends, and how they would never see him again.

As the goons closed in around him, Alex's eyes scanned the warehouse, desperate for a way out. But it was too late. The goons grabbed him, holding him in a tight grip. Alex struggled, but he was no match for their strength.

As they dragged him away, Alex caught a glimpse of Mr. Smith's face, twisted in a cruel smile. "You'll never see the light of day again, Alex," he sneered.

Alex was thrown into a dark, damp cell, the door slamming shut behind him. He was left alone, with no food, no water, and no hope.

Days passed, or at least Alex thought they did.
