CHAPTER 49

Lana had decided to confront the shareholders. It had been on her mind immediately after she left Rylan’s house. It was a stupid move, but she did it anyway. It was to show that she wasn’t scared of them and that she knew they were behind it. She didn’t know who in particular had done it, but her focus was mainly on Seth. He had orchestrated the plan to kill Rylan. It would be no surprise that he would have changed his mind after she left and poisoned her instead. It would make perfect sense.

“The lost sheep returns,” Seth said with his arms folded.

Lana gritted her teeth and she glared at him. She was upset that he wasn’t surprised to see her as the rest of the table was. Cody seemed to be shivering in fear. They were all guilty of almost getting her killed. The only person who didn’t let that guilt faze him was Seth, and she detested it.

“I know what all of you did!” Lana yelled.
