CHAPTER 52

Detective Jain Reynolds showed her badge before being allowed to step into the scene. It was a horror sight. She immediately covered her nose with her elbow. In the house were numerous dead bodies scattered around the floor. This was like a horror film. Stanley walked up to her with a grim look on his face. For some reason, he didn’t look happy. Neither was she.

“What the hell happened?” She asked.

Stanley sighed and shook his head.

“Well judging from the bullets and bodies, I’ll say there was a shootout here,” he replied.

Jain shook her head. She watched the dead bodies being zipped up and taken away. The house was buzzing with police officers and forensic scientists. There was blood everywhere on the floor making the house stink of gunpowder and blood. It was a traumatizing sight.

“Are they any survivors?” She asked.
