THE DIVORCE

Mr Allison felt that he had always been a faithful and devoted husband. He had been married to Mrs Allison for over 28 years, and he loved her dearly.

But in recent times, he had only been restless and unhappy in his marriage; he knew that a divorce was inevitable.

He believed that Mrs Allison had always been a flirt, and she enjoyed the attention of another man; and just when he thought that her flirtatious behaviour was over, he discovered another shocker.

He regretted accepting her back after she returned from Paul's house, and now he contemplated the end of his marriage to her. He felt a sudden urge to seek revenge for all the pain and hurt that his wife had caused him.

While he was still thinking, he heard some footsteps at the door. He knew it was Nancy because he had invited her over to the house.

"Come in, Nancy," Mr Allison called from inside, as soon as he heard the sound of the doorbell.

Nancy was now fond of Mr Allison, and he couldn't deny that he found her attractive.
