Chapter 02

Elion Elzeus felt his heart Crack.

"How could you!?" He growled out disappointed as he took a step closer towards Emma.

She didn't care how he felt.

She was ready to get rid of him and their child.

She was ready to do these for Wilfreds' sake, especially since it would make her family richer.

His Emma finally brought his fear before him… She always looked down on him and compared him with the wealth Wilfred had, and this made him fear losing her or breaking the family up.

"You know this reminds me of a story." Elion said as he began to cry terribly in pain, while he recalled how even his mother was rejected by his father because she was poor and invaluable of love.

Elion loved Emma despite the fact that she tormented him in their marriage.

It felt like his Adoption of Harbert was now unnecessary as Harbert had to bear with her unmotherly behaviour with Harbert.

"You know he is too little to follow the school bus, and you didn't even care to pick him up, Oh common Emma! He's a child." Elion said out of frustration.

School hours had passed and it could only mean that Harbert used the school bus or he was still at school waiting.

Elion stared at Mr. Wilfreds' hand which held unto Emma's waist seductively and it provoked him to the core that he walked up to them enraged, although Mr. Wilfred stood at Emma's front.

Like he was going to fight for her.

Making Elion look like He wanted to hurt her at this point, which wasn't true.

Elion looked at his sorry fowled Face.

His gut knew Wilfred had evil intentions.

He moulded his fists outraged.

He couldn't believe Emma fell for this faker, Wilfred was known to the city's womaniser, a man who had married many other women and divorced them.

He felt like beating Wilfred off.

As he feared for his family falling apart.

"He's deceiving you Emma, this is what he does to women, use and divorce them, so why does he want you so badly now that you earned your family's company a two hundred billion dollar fortune?" Elion tried to ring a bell to Emma but she looked away from him in disgust.

"At least... He isn't as broke as you." She mocked Elion again and he felt Disappointed at her demeanour.

"God! You all are so heartless!" He yelled, holding his head from running mad.

Harberts safety Worried him the Most.

"Have you seen what's happening on the News!?" The house-keeper, Brenda said entering our conversation.

She picked up the remote and tuned to the news channel, switching off our talks.

"Back again on Channels News Tv, a School bus driver has just lost his life, as the bus has been Hijacked by hooded assassin's, although the police have managed to save most of the students." The newscaster paused.

"Hence… It breaks my heart that the police say there's still a Minor trapped in the bus, believed to be the main victim the kidnappers wanted." The newscaster kept talking and Elion's mouth fell open.

"Oh my god... Your son Harbert." The house-keeper exclaimed in fear.

"Isn't Harbert your son?" Wilfred asked Emma who nodded a no at him.

Wilfred carried a disturbed look.

Elion begins to get a panic attack.

"That's the same bus from Haberts School." He said with his blood vibrating.

Elion rushed for Emma's car Keys over the stool but Emma's Mum grabbed them, tossing it over to Mr. Wilfred, who held the keys.

"He bought it for me." Emma added.

Elion could see no Conscience in their actions.

"Gha!" A gunshot gets heard Whilsts Elion felt like vanishing from the house as his heart kept pacing in fear of losing his son.

He looked at the TV with tension.

Praying and hoping his boy was safe.

"I need those car keys please." He begged.

"No, Mr. Wilfred bought it for me, here is the divorce document, you're expected to pack out immediately, and I mean right now." Emma hits the signed papers over him as Mr. Wilfred brings her closer for a romantic kiss.

Elion, in shock, fell to his knees in tears.

She neglected the info of her son's kidnap.

At this point, Elion didn't care about their marriage anymore, all He wanted was Harbert, his son… He mattered the most.

"I beg of you, help me with your car keys, and I will never interfere in your lives again, after returning it, please." Elion pleaded in tears.

"Since when do bike-Men drive cars?... Now get out of my daughter's house and never ever come back here, you poor filthy thing." Her mother thundered at him.

He got up and stepped two steps back in trembling before rushing downstairs.

At least He had a one-Seater Power-Bike.

Nothing will stop him from saving his son.

In haste... He was soon at the scene.

He increased his speed and luckily passed through the police, speeding through the hill with a curved up bridge.

He added his Speed up, not caring he was dealing with Kidnapers here.

"Gha!" Elion's Bike tire receives a Gunshot causing him to Crash Land towards where Harbert was, hence he got badly bruised.

"Harbert!" He called out, entering the bus.

"Harbert!" Elion called while crying before his son finally replied to him.

"Daddy..." Harbert calls at the end of the bus.

He covered himself with his backpack.

Elion rushed in and grabbed him over himself.

"I am so sorry, my son." Elion couldn't help but sob, seeing how frightened his son - Herbert's face looked.

"I love you so much my boy." Elion comforts his son.

"Daddy am I going to die?" Harbert asked, staring at an assassin behind Elion.

"No, of course not, Daddy will protect you." He said to his son as he got up.

He turns to see it was a plan to get him and his son together in the bus.

"Move us out of here, we are going to kill the dad and cash out two hundred billion from the kid." The masked man said and another assassin without a time spent, keyed on accelerate, causing the bus to shake, Whilsts Elion used this opportunity as the bus door shuts closed.

Elion dragged out the kidnappers' short knife, firing it through the driver's skull, leading to the bus tilting to face the wrong part of the hill's cliff as he wrestled the assassin with his son Harbert grabbing the man's beard to assist his father.

"Damn you kid!" The man hits Elion with his machine gun before cracking his gun at little Harbert to end him.

"Bwaa!" He fires at Harbert but Elion manages to cover his now injured son, but the man doesn't stop shooting at Elion covering his son, until his own bullet bounces back, ending his own life.

Elion struggled in pain.

He got up holding the man's gun as he carried his child over his arm running to the front of the moving bus, because the time had come.

"Daddy, the cliff." Harbert said to his father as tears rolled out Elion's eyes while he shot at the bus's windshield, throwing Harbert out, through it.

"Daddy!" Harbert screamed whilst in mid air.

Elion feared never to see his son again.

"Harbert!" Elion cried back in the falling Bus as he went down the cliff, to his death.
