Mister William Sanchez asks to see Ruby in his office immediately. He warned her to be there in the next five minutes or he is going to take away the projects that have been appointed to her.

So, Ruby has no other option than to show up very early in the morning. It's just eight and some of the workers haven't clocked in yet.

Ruby reaches the door of her grandfather's office and she immediately feels her heart grow with anxiety.

Each time that he has asked to see her, he always either insults her parents, or he threatens to take her job.

She inhales deeply and runs her hand through the smooth strands of her hair. She knocks on the door and walks into her grandfather's office.

He is sitting at the table, he is bent over the work and his pen is quivering as he writes. He shouldn't be here, he should be in the home for assisted living.

He looks up at her, the normal snarl that she has gotten used to is on his face.

“Good morning, grandfather,” she bows to him.
