“Andrew is nothing but trouble! How did he manage to anger the badger?!” Thomas laments as he bangs the door.

“Are we even sure that he is going to make it out alive? The badger might just kill him.” Doreen laments.

Ruby drops the key to the car and slumps into a chair. She hasn't stopped crying, she doesn't want Andrew to die.

Maybe she is going to drive around to where the badger lives and beg him. She just got Andrew back after five years, she doesn't want Uma to grow up without a father.
