Starting from the bottom were the Lords. They often ruled over hamlets and villages. Then were the Barons who ruled over towns. Viscounts were nobles and rulers of cities. Counts were nobles who ruled over counties. Earls were nobles ranked higher than Counts. They ruled over states. Dukes ruled over Dukedoms, Kings ruled over Countries, Emperors ruled over Continents.As for the Sentry Association, they were the ones who held the world's military might.
