Chapter Eleven

“Grin!!” A disturbing alarm rang for the umpteenth time, and this time, Lex woke up with a frown on his face. He groaned and sighed heavily.

He checked the time, it was past 7 a.m. but he was still feeling sleepy.

He lay still, staring at the ceiling in silence. After a few minutes, he stood up and did a few push-ups for his morning routine before dashing to the bathroom for a hot bath.

When he arrived at the penthouse in search of Espinoza Lucas, he saw him by the dining table having his breakfast all alone. Lex sighed deeply and pushed the door open.

On seeing Lex approaching, Espinoza Lucas hardened his expression, his gaze fixated on his food ignoring Lex.

“Good morning sir,” Lex greeted politely, and he gulped down a glass of water.

“You've made your decision, yes?” He asked, still focused on his food.

“I'll take your first word as your answer, so I suggest you think carefully before speaking,” he urged, and Lex rolled his eyes.
