I clicked my tongue in annoyance.
I knew she had just come to bother me , she would say something about what just happened.
"If I give you more money ,will you also bend down and pick it, like a lowly cleaner you are, how about I give you money to clean my shoes?" She said as she tossed more money at me and I just clenched my fists and watched her.
If not that she was a woman and I didn't want to get into trouble, I would have taught her a lesson, because I was sure she was the one taking the groceries I bought for myself and tossing it in the trash.
Wicked bitch.
"Won't you pick up the money?" She asked mockingly and I just ignored her and walked past her.
I would rather walk for a thousand miles to walk than take her money.
"Look at how you are acting like a proud man, when you don't even have money for a cab, useless man! Take the money or your stomach will feel the pain of your stupidity." She hissed.
I turned to glare at her.
She heard what I was talking about with my wife.
Nosy brat, I cursed underneath my breath.
"Why are you glaring at me like that, what are you going to do, are you going to beat me?" She asked as she approached me.
"Who wants to beat you?" I heard my mother in law's voice from upstairs, he looked at her.
Alex shrugged off her words and raised his hands in surrender.
"I was just leaving for work." I told my mother in law who eyed me suspiciously.
I just walked out of the door.
I saw that my wife's car was still in the mansion, when I walked out of the front door, she saw me through the window and looked away ,as her driver drove out of the mansion gate and left me walking to the main road to get a cab.
I got a cab after five minutes of waiting and it drove him to Harry corporation.
I was just happy that I did not get to work late and I got to the company building, went to the cleaners staff room and changed into my work outfit immediately and began my job.
I work as a cleaner in my father-in-law's company.
My wife works as the assistant CEO of the company, she assists her father in running the company.
My job was just to scrub the tiles, glass walls and wash the toilets and make sure it was spotless each day, they were five other cleans apart from me.
My colleagues who are also cleaners know that I am married to my wealthy wife and they asked me why I am a cleaner instead of having a higher position in the company and I just smile and refuse to say anything.
How can I say my wife despises me, that's why she doesn't want to help me or see me succeed in any way.
I cleaned all my assigned posts ,until it was remaining my wife's restroom.
I happily took the elevator to my wife's floor.
I knowingly left cleaning her office, as the last part of my job today, so I could see her.
I got to the door of my wife and the secretary told me to knock and go in.
Working hours were going to start in 30 minutes ,so I was not late.
I knocked and heard a cold come in and I pushed open the door and walked in to see my wife talking with someone in her office, but once she saw me , she stopped in her words and glared at me.
I was used to people stopping to talk when I was around, I knew it must be something important about work that shouldn't be known by others, so it didn't bother me.
"Why did it take you so long to come to my office to clean it?" Riley asked me and I was taken aback by her question.
It wasn't working hours already,so I thought it would be fine.
"Working hours don't start till ..." I tried to say, gaining a glare from my wife.
"Shut your dirty mouth!" She half yelled and I shut my mouth.
The man standing there smirked.
"So because working hours haven't started ,you will leave my office looking all messed up?" She asked me in annoyance and I lowered my head.
I didn't like the fact that my wife was scolding me in front of her employee, but I couldn't talk back to her since she was my boss.
I swallowed a lump that had formed in my throat.
"Sorry ma'am, it won't happen again." I apologized with my head bowed.
"Do your job and get lost!" She yelled, clicked her tongue in annoyance and continued talking to the person standing there.
I quietly made my way to the restroom door,I opened it and walked in and closed it before sighing in relief.
I wanted to talk to his wife, maybe eat breakfast with her ,since she eats in the office and not at home ,but that won't work and I was hungry.
"I should have just grabbed a doughnut on the way here." I mumbled as his stomach growled.
"I should get to work first, I will feed you later." I muttered to myself ,as I walked into the toilet first to clean it up and take out the trash.
Then I came out and wanted to clean the counter where the washbasin was in and the vanity mirror.
I was using a cloth to clean the counter, when something caught my eyes and I stopped and furrowed my brows in confusion.
"What is that?" I asked no one in particular ,as I walked closer to the foreign object resting on the counter.
I was wearing cleaning gloves ,so I picked up the foreign object and gasped.
"This can't be." I exclaimed as I shook my head, refusing to believe what I was seeing in front of me.
"There is no way." I took in a shaky breath as I looked at the foreign object I was holding carefully.
