The Battle of Wits

The battle was no longer fought with weapons and armies. The Specter’s identity revealed a new kind of warfare, one of deception and mind games. With a flick of his hand, he orchestrated a complex web of traps and schemes, leaving Victor and his team scrambling to keep up.

The first sign of trouble came in the form of a cryptic message sent to Victor: “One of your allies is in my hands. Come to the old warehouse at midnight if you want to see them alive.” The message was unsigned, but the threat was clear. Victor's mind raced as he tried to piece together where The Specter might strike next.

“Damn it,” Victor muttered, slamming his fist on the table. “We have to move. Now.”

Emma, who had been working alongside Victor, stepped forward. “We need to plan this carefully. The Specter will have set traps everywhere. We can’t just charge in.”
