29-First Time Flying

Izuro's Pov:

A month has passed since the accident.

Now I'm not only in good shape, my stats has insert at a speed visible to the eyes.

I also discovered that there is a TV.

But damn it was not put in the guests room nor any other places.

it's in my parent room where my mother is always staying, she stopped moving much in this period of time.

I discovered it by accident ,I followed my father with the intention of asking mother to give me  the Spear to study it.

There I saw her eating while watching TV.

This days I start feeling bored, luckily there is someone who is suffering like me.

[Ibara]: "hey don't you feel bored?"

"Yeah, so?"

[Ibara]: "then why don't we do something fun?"

"What is it? Don't tell me watching those cooking videos that you always follow, I prefer staying like this than watching them"

[Ibara]: "How Dare You, you're the last one who have the right to talk about this, did you forget the boring videos you always watch??"

"It's not boring videos, I was learning from them"

[Ibara]: "what are you supposed to learn from fake a videos that show you how to connect your phone to the fridge and playing game on it? Even I won't believe it"

"Mind your own business"

What do you know.

Those tasteless and fake videos are the best to waste time.

"Anyway let's go back to the topic, what is the fun thing you said we should do?"

[Ibara]: "Ahem, what if we draw a magic circle that make the gravity low in the area so we can float?"

"Nice Idea"

I said that Will clapping

"But, you don't know how to draw a magic circle, let alone something as hard like controlling the gravity"

I poured cold water on her fantasy.

[Ibara]: "Yes I don't know, but this will help us"

Saying that she took the book that was hidden behind her.

"What's that? Something like a mage guide or something"

[Ibara]: "you guess it right, it's a book that will guide us to make that circle"

"Well, give me the book for a moment"

Taking the book from her, I read the title

"A Guide Book About Magic Circle And Their Working Way For Stupid And Idiot People"

••••was that supposed to be a title?

The author is really courageous to write something like that, most people will find it difficult to buy a book with title like this.

"Where did you found it?"

[Ibara]: "in my father's collection"

"Oh, then this explain many things"

[Ibara]: "what did you said? You spoke in a low voice that I didn't understand what you said"

"Oh I said then where is the gravity magic circle you're talking about"

[Ibara]: "can't you use your mind? It's obviously in the book"

Is she serious or I'm the weird here?

"I mean which page "

[Ibara]: "oh here it's"

I sometimes think her brain is damaged or frozen ,because she ask a really stupid questions.

Flipping the page and pausing in the middle of the book, she handed it to me again.

"Let's see, you need an earth lizard scale a feather of a giant owl ,etc ,etc."

[Ibara]: "so is it easy or?"

"You know what. it's better to forget making this , because I don't know a shit about this materials"

[Ibara]: "oh come on, you always gave up easily. We can think of another way, like replacing this materials with our mana or something"

"Replace shit, you know just a little Spear made us feel asleep like pigs, now you have the face to say you want to create this thing with mana. what, you want an eternal sleep?"

[Ibara]: "Come on don't be like that ,I know you can find a way, you always find a weird way of using your mana"

"I will pretend like I didn't hear the last sentence. and no I can't, I'm not a magician I'm a Tank, did you saw a tank flying before"

[Ibara]: "sigh, ok I w...."

"Wait, why I didn't think of this before"

[Ibara]: "what? You have a way??"

"Yes yes, I didn't think about it before, but I don't know if you will like it"

[Ibara]: "tell me, I just want to fly right now no matter the method"

"OK, then hear me, I'm going to draw a mini anti gravity magic circle in my shield to make it float and we will ride on it"

[Ibara]: "cool. what are you waiting for ,bring your shield already"

"Ok ,but I think I need more mana because we don't have the materials so I need you to pour yours inside me like the last time when I'm drawing the circle"

[Ibara]: "ok I'm ready"

Taking a deep breath to calm my mind, I summoned the shield again.

I really need to learn how to use inventory , because every time I summon this or the Mace I waste a lot of mana.

Putting the shield in the ground while holding the book.

I start channelling my mana toward my finger so I can draw one the shield.

I saw this method on a video of a seal master showing how to write seals in the air.

Looking at the book and copying every detail of the circle in a slow manner as to prevent any mistake.

From the first touch I felt how huge it can consume, I'm barley able to finish it with my reverse of mana, luckily I brought a power bank with me.

"Now give me your mana"

Hearing my order she start transforming the mana slowly as to not make the same mistake like the last time.

"Yeah that's it, I already draw half of it"

Trying to keep my focus while speeding up, I finally finished drawing the circle.

"Finally, it really made me tired"

[Ibara]: "phew. Now we can fly"

"Let's see how the hell this circle work"

Flipping the page I found the method.

It's easy ,you just need to follow a certain pattern in filling the circle with mana.

Doing the same steps as mention in the book, I saw the result of my hard work.

The shield start floating.

Quickly catching it so it won't go to anywhere, I shouted toward Ibara to ride with me.

"Now you can come, I'm controlling the magic circle on it"

I felt like my brain wich is a big screen, another small screen was added there that allow me to control the shield with my thinking.

Awsome.

"Fasten your belts"

[Ibara]: "what belt.. Oh here it's"

Don't worry, this was just me making a safety belts with my mana.

"Ok here we go"

I start controlling it to float to the sky.

Higher.

Higher.

I didn't stop until we reached the level of the windows in the castle.

[Ibara]: "Beautiful, it's really beautiful from here"

Welp I agree with her.

"True, it's like we are in a different place"

[Ibara]: "hey Iz, wanna play a quick game?"

"Game? Sure, but what is it?"

[Ibara]: "I'm seeing something start with b, what is it"

"B? Blue right? Because the sky is blue "

[Ibara]: "wrong"

"Ok give me another chance"

[Ibara]: "sorry time's up, the answer is a bird"

"Dang I didn't think about that obviously answer, anyway where is it?"

Turning my head I saw a bird speeding up toward us.

Holy shit is this bird blind?.

I tried my best to lower the shield to evade any accident.

Passing by our heads, he turned around and continue rushing toward us.

Damn this is obviously targeting us.

"Look I'm going to lower the shield faster to the ground, you try to attack this bird with your ice arrows"

[Ibara]: "ok"

This is my first battle with a monster so I'm a bit nervous.

While watching Ibara throwing ice arrows toward him I was also evading his mad rush.

Reaching almost the ground and seeing him making another mad rush, I quickly ordered Ibara

"Jump"

The moment we jumped I made the shield accelerate with all my mana toward the mad rushing bird.

You can imagine his ending

Watching the now bird with broken head and the shield fell together, a gentle and refreshing wind blow at us bringin us a great feeling.

"I really didn't expect to level up today"

[Ibara]: "so do I"

"Hey wanna try it again? Maybe another bird will attack us"

[Ibara]: "nah, I'm tired for today"

"Ok, I guess I'm going to take this bird body to the kitchen so we can have a snack"

[Ibara]: "wait for me, I'm also coming. I want to see how the chief work"

"Well, do as you like"

Just like that I ended my training for today with a grilled bird and Ibara ended taking notes from the cooking of the chief.

Hope tomorrow I meet a nice bird again.
