Davide was momentarily taken aback by what Ethan suddenly said. Then he remembered when Zeta had mentioned something about Derek and Lawrence being friends or something like that, but they surely knew each other.

Still, he didn't want to assume anything and just decided to stay on a path that was neutral; neither wanting to believe that they indeed had a sort of friendship nor that they were nothing more than business partners.

Davide's eyebrows furrowed, "how long have you known Uncle Lawrence?"

Ethan shrugged, "since I was born. He mostly comes around during the weekends. Why are you looking him up?"
