Chapter 96

Avery was feeling all sorts of emotions. She couldn't name one of them but she knew they existed inside her.

It's been a whole day and she never left the house. She couldn't even bring herself to take her bath. She couldn't eat anything, it wasn't as if she even propelled herself up to enter the kitchen to cook. Avery was quiet, only staring at the bag of gold on her bed. Underneath the state of angst, there was a feeling of emptiness.

She felt unbelievably empty.
