Jade lock

Hua San Mountain

Bugh...

Bugh...

Bugh...

"STUPID! YOU GUYS ARE SO STUPID!"

"YOU CAN'T EVEN CHASE A BABY; WHAT'S THE POINT OF LEARNING MARTIAL ARTS, HUH?"

"No, Han Ying, don't beat them up like this. They're already hurt," Zhang Yong said soothingly.

"Shut up! First, brothers shouldn't be too kind to others; they'll turn on us! Like that baby who ran away, he's now running away because big brother spoiled him too much!"

"What did you say? Pampering? I didn't spoil him; I just treated him like a normal teenager. He's my nephew, my brother's son; he's been deprived of love since he was a kid; I just don't want him to suffer," Zhang Yong, their first brother, explained.

Han Ying chuckled softly. Now that he's gone, who knows where he's going?"

"Didn't you not care about him earlier? So why are you thinking about him? Don't pretend to care about your nephew!" Zhang Yong quipped.

Hearing that, Han Ying did not get angry at all. Instead, he crossed his arms in front of his chest as he smiled devilishly at the window. "That's right! I'm so happy that the kid ran away from the pavilion; there's no more burden in this pavilion, and with that, I can rule without hesitation," Han Ying said with a devilish smile.

Jing Beiyuan, the third brother of Zhang Xiang's father, frowned at his brother Han Ying's words. "Powerful? What are you powerful at? We can even only access certain rooms because the jade key is with Zhang Xiang," she said.

Instantly, Han Ying's demonic smile faded away. She turned her body around and stared at Jing Beiyuan with a fierce gaze. She forgot that the jade key was brought by her nephew, Zhang Xiang's departure, which was originally her happy news but was now wiped out instantly. During all these years of living in Hua San Pavilion, they could only roam in certain areas that were specially opened for everyone to enter. Including the underground rooms that were open to the public, but there were some private rooms that could not be accessed, such as the private room of Zhang Xiang's father, Xiang, and some of the rooms where he had his temples.

For years, they could only see the door tightly closed, with dust and cobwebs decorating the surface of the door. The pimtu was locked tightly, as was the room where the heirlooms were kept in the pavilin. Never once did the three of them find out what was inside, but a few years ago Xiang told them that there were some matra books and a collection of books containing his stances stored there, but only a jade key could open them.

The matra book is not important to them, for the focus is currently only on pursuing the book of books containing the nine-sword stance along with the white sword with its magic, which is currently the target of everyone. Many want this heirloom because it is said that there will be no one who can kill or even defeat the person once he has mastered it. And the only one who has it is Xiang, one of dozens of other warriors.

Han Ying clenched both hands tightly. "Damn it! Why didn't you say so earlier? That way, I wouldn't have let him go!" She said it angrily.

Zhang Yong smiled sarcastically. "That's it; bad intentions will not be favored by the almighty! Your intentions are not good towards your nephew, hence the power to let your nephew run away!"

"Stop calling him my nephew! I never recognized him as a nephew! It's all your fault; chasing after a baby is incompetent!"

Zhang Yong was furious when he heard his younger brother blaming him. Always blaming others, he had never once been kind or prejudiced toward others. Of his two brothers, Han Yong was the only one who was spiteful, malicious, and selfish. He had a very strong ambition and would do anything to achieve his goal, even if it was forbidden to him.

"ARE YOU BLAMING ME? Are YOU CRAZY? Aren't YOU THE ONE WHO didn't WANT TO PURSUE HIM? AREN'T YOU THE ONE WHO SAID YOU DON'T CARE, HUH?"

"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO UNDERESTIMATED HIM. HE'S A WEAK, USELESS KID!"

Bugh....

One punch landed on Han Ying's stomach so hard that she fell to the ground. After saying that, Zhang Yong left his two younger siblings immediately.

"Arergghhhtttt....!!!!! Damn Zhang Xiang!!!"

Elsewhere, a scorpion demon was sitting on a four-layered bench with a scorpion symbol as the design of the seat of power. The scorpion-tail-shaped staff with its head never left the ruler's hand. He was Wen Hexing, the black Scorpion King. For weeks, he had been planning this impromptu attack on Hua San, but again he had failed. Even his army dwindled with each visit to Hua San's residence.

"Arrrgghhtt...!!!!"

"What exactly is the source of their strength? Why do I always fail to seize the jade key?" Wen Hexing said it angrily.

"Maybe we need to organize a new strategy to attack them, but in a subtle way," said Rong-Rong, the Centipede demon.

"I can't use subtle means! You think I'm a snow princess, huh? I'm the Scorpion King! THE ARROGANT SCORPION KING!"

Rong-Rong nodded in understanding. "Yes, I know; everyone also knows about your deadly prowess, but not all problems should be solved with violence."

Wen Hexing turned his head towards Rong-Rong. "What do you mean?"

"We must organize a strategy to destroy Hua Dsan's residence slowly and gradually. Let's not be rash; let's utilize the advantages we have."

Wen Hexing couldn't help but think hard about Rong-Rong's words. He absorbed all the words that came out of her mouth while understanding what they meant. At first he was a little hesitant, because if he did it slowly, it would automatically take longer to take their source of strength; wouldn't it affect their troops even more as time went on? Wen Hexing looked at Rong-Rong, who was waiting for his approval, until a few seconds later.

"I disagree!"

Rong-Rong looked surprised to hear that. "Why?"

"Do you want our forces to decrease as time goes by? You remember fighting them being easy? There have even been several times when we attacked them impromptu, but what happened was that our troops again died at their hands. That is truly an insult!" He replied angrily.

"It's an easy thing; we just need to improve their martial arts skills; we just need to train them to be even stronger."

"They're strong; all my troops are strong! It's just that they're stupid; they can't fight Hua San, who fights using their brains!"

As the two of them were arguing, suddenly a soldier, a royal spy, came up to them and saluted them. This man was a spy from the Scorpion Kingdom sent by Wen Hexing to keep an eye on Hua San's residence. So far, the only one who provided any information was this spy; even the one who gave the impromptu attack code was also this man, and strangely, this spy was not known at all by Hua San's family. And now this soldier came to give the latest news.

"Please bow to the scorpion king!"

"What have you come here for?"

"I just came here to inform you that young master Zhang Xiang is no longer in the pavilion; he has left!"

Wen Hexing was shocked; he immediately got up from his seat while stomping his cane. "WHAT? LEFT?"

"With the jade key?" asked Wen Hexing.

The spy soldier nodded. "Yes, sir. The jade key itself is with the young master; I heard it directly from Jing Beiyuan and Han Ying; they were arguing and blaming each other for the young master's departure!"

Wen Hexing knitted his eyebrows together as he clenched his hands tightly.

"PRAJURIT...!!!!!"

"KING READY!"

"SCATTER THE TROOPS! SEARCH FOR ZHANG XIANG UNTIL YOU FIND HIM! And don't COME BACK IF YOU haven't FOUND HIM!"

"READY KING!"
