Chapter 105

“How do you like your new clothes?” Richardson asked immediately he exited the store. Mary jumped around in excitement at all the new things she had acquired.

“Minus the hits I got, I love this shopping experience,” she said with a huge smile on her face. She looked at Richardson with a different light in her eyes. He had saved her from further embarrassment at the store.

It would have been easy to abandon her and leave until the cops arrived to pick her up, but he hadn’t done that, instead he had defended her, slapping the guards who had tried manhandling her.

He was more than a friend; he had acted like a god to her, saving her from the clutches of the evil store attendants.

“Alright,” he sighed, tapping on the key to open the car. “Let’s pack this into the car and get out of here.”

She nodded to what had been said, carrying some of the bags which were littered on the ground into the car with his help.
