Chapter 108

Turning around, she found Richardson standing by the counter looking as handsome as ever. She instinctively checked her watch to find out it was some minutes to nine. He had arrived a bit earlier.

He noticed her checking her watch and decided to clear himself, “I had nothing I was doing home so I decided to come on time.”

She nodded. “Let me drop these real quick and change then we’ll be gone within minutes.”

“”Alright,” he agreed, going to a chair to sit in.

He watched her go while patients waltzed around the hospital with their various families and friends. Within minutes, she was out, dressed in a mini gown with her hair hastily done.

“Alright,” she said out of breath. “Shall we?”

He looked her over getting the scent of a perfume. She had also had her bath. Not bad he thought.

“Sure,” he said, taking her by the hand as they walked out of the hospital and into the car park where his car was parked.
