Chapter 109

She watched him with interest as they walked out of the club. She was very certain that he was going to take her to his home. It was right, for he had taken Mary, a complete stranger, to his home, why would he not do the same to her?

They entered his car and he roared it to life, swerving through the dark alleyway to join the traffic.

From time to time, she would steal glances at him while admiring his face and body. He was an attractive man, there was no doubt about it. The confidence he exuded was something which she wanted around her.

Within minutes, they arrived at the gate of a hotel which she had passed by a couple of times.

“Why are we here?” she asked, looking around to see cars leaving the hotel grounds.

He looked at her briefly before turning away. The silent treatment, she thought to herself.

She had expected him to take her to his house for the night but instead he had taken her to a hotel.
