Chapter 118

Richardson walked to the stable admiring the horses there. He had tried riding a couple of times but had failed at it. Horses were not his thing, cars on the other hand were his thing.

“Sir,” someone said at the door as he turned to see the stable cleaner with a broom in his hand.

“Hey,” he smiled at the young teenager. He could remember when his grandfather had picked the boy up from the streets to train him but it turned out the boy didn’t want to go to school but wanted to work for money.

Damien had accepted the boy’s request, giving him a job as one of the stable cleaners while he rewarded him with shelter and a wonderful pay.

“I’m here to clean up the place,” the boy said with his eyes finding it hard to look at him. He was shy, the heir could tell from the way he stole glances at him from time to time.

“Sure,” he smiled, exiting the stable just in time to see Tom jogging to the stable. “You didn’t need to run, I was going to wait until you were done.”
