Right there, walking into the building together, was Alice and Michael, his girlfriend and best friend. They were both holding hands and plastered against each other.

To say Richardson was shocked, would be an understatement.

Richardson got to his feet just as his best friend and girlfriend noticed him, and began to walk in his direction.

“Look who’s here right now.” Michael mused and Alice giggled like Michael had said the funniest thing ever.

They both thoroughly looked him up and exchanged a glance, and Richardson silently cursed himself over, for not insisting on purchasing some clothes before coming here.

“Isn’t this the clothes you were in before you were arrested?” Alice asked and Michael hummed.

“Those are the clothes, Alice. Did you think he’d be able to afford a change of clothes?” Michael snickered and Alice tutted.

“Absolutely not. He’s way too broke for that.”
