“So I was thinking, after dinner can we go to my place and hang out a little more?” she sent him a sexy smile while putting her hand over his. She felt his hand stiffen and suddenly become cold.

“I’m sorry,” he sighed, taking back his hand from under her own. “But I’ll have to decline that offer.”

She was taken aback by his words. Had she not been good enough for him the last time they had done it? Had he found someone better or was he not into her?

So many questions raged through her head as she recoiled her hands to her lap.
