Chapter 162

As Richardson left to go get ready for his date with Jennie, Mary arranged the board pieces. She was deep in thoughts at what was going on.

She wondered if he was lying to her about just being friends with Jennie. What if there was something more going on between them she thought to herself.

Mary didn’t like Jennie as she had not been nice to her at the hospital. She wondered if she was like that to Richardson or she was pretending to be a good person in front of him.

Either way, it didn’t matter to her as she did not like Jennie.

She could see through Jennie’s lies and facade. She felt that Jennie was lying and showing a side of herself that wasn’t shown to others.

Mary could feel that Richardson was good. He was a great person with a wonderful personality. He was fun to be around. She did not have dull moments with the man but moments filled with excitement for what would come next.

She knew Jennie was not good for him. She could feel it. Maybe it was because she did not like her
