The men never liked him. They had always wanted him to be destroyed so they would take over the company themselves.

They couldn’t wait for him to be destroyed so they would have autonomy over the company. They didn’t care what happened to him so long as he would get out of their lives and leave them the way they were before he entered.

They could remember when he had entered into their lives taking everything away from them. They had been the next in line to take over the company, but that was all gone now he was in the mix.
