As Jace walked away from the heir he couldn’t believe how lucky he was to have gotten such a job offer.

It had happened like a miracle. He remembered that he had gone out with his mother and his little brother in search of what to do for work but had not found anything to do.

His mother had lost her job from the newspaper company she worked at as a cleaner. She had been fired for no reason and as such they had all been starving from that day.

Her income was not enough to keep everyone afloat and after getting fired, he knew they would all die if they did not find something to do immediately.

They had decided that getting a new job was better than begging and that was what they had intended to do.

Stepping out of the house that fateful morning, they had scoured the city in search of jobs. He had entered into different offices begging for job placements but had not gotten any.

He had regrouped with his mother and sibling later on to see that she had not also gotten anything as well.
