Chapter 218

“I will,” Richardson smiled, getting to his feet. “I guess I’ll have to go tell Mary.”

“Definitely. Also the doctor came by today and I think he said something about her getting better. Maybe she’ll be better in a few days, who knows?”

Richardson was happy about the news. At least she was not one of the women in his life giving him trouble.

“What about mother?“ he asked, wondering if she would ever get better at all. “Is she going to be okay?”

“The doctors have said that her waking up from her coma is a very slim chance. We are still praying that she does not have any complications.”

Richardson nodded. He was not the praying kind but for his mother’s health, he would do anything.

With a wave he left the old man and started for his room passing by the room which had been allocated to Jennie.

“Hey,” she whispered after finding him walking past as she wanted to start up a conversation with him. “You didn’t tell me you lived in a mansion.”
