"Hey Axel!" Myrdin chucked his sword at me.I caught it and swung at the gnomes who were attacking me. These gnomes were so aggressive that they not only used their weapons but also bit us. I was surrounded by them and almost got lost."Myrdin, can you find him? I'm getting tired," I panted while walking near him and taking shelter."I'm trying, man!" Myrdin hollered."Alright, I'll find him. Protect me!" I darted faster while sweeping the gnomes with a mop that I found."Hurry up!" Myrdin tried to distract them.I ran into every tunnel that I saw and tried to find Nym. "Where the hell did the gnomes kidnap him?" I ran out of breath until I saw the last tunnel that looked so narrow."Where do you think you're going?" The gnomes blocked my way into the last narrow."Please, move aside. I don't have time to fight with you," I begged."You can't cross if you can't kill us," the gnomes said with confidence."Alright, if that's what you want."I took a glass bottle from the box behind me.
The thick smoke rose from the ground, and it was pretty clear that a bunch of animals were coming in our way. I squinted my eyes, trying to see better."Hey, is that a pack of bulls?" I asked them, since they could see better than me because they were two times my height."Yup," Myrdin nodded, looking pretty chill."Should we run for it?" I asked, looking at both of them while standing in the middle."Hell yeah!" Nym bolted first, and I followed, with Myrdin bringing up the rear. But of course, my short legs were no match for this world. Myrdin picked me up and carried me in his arms. "C'mon, man, you gotta run faster," Myrdin chuckled."How can I? Your body is two times bigger than mine," I panted, glancing back. "They're getting closer!" I started panicking."Run, Nym, run!" Myrdin urged, sprinting ahead of Nym."Ugh," groaned Nym, who was only good in the water. The pack of bulls closed in faster than they expected. The bulls shoved them around until they couldn't even stand. I fel
I closed my eyes when Myrdin started jumping into the boiling lava. My heart was pounding up and down while I tried to open my eyes. All I could see was red, but it was not really hot.“Are we already inside the lava?” I asked, looking at the lava bubble which looked so satisfying.“Yes,” answered Myrdin.Myrdin and Nym were swimming together deep into the mountain. Strangely, the lava didn’t feel hot at all. Now, I felt more relaxed than before and saw everything around us.“Why didn’t you tell me that the lava doesn’t feel so hot?” I started talking with Myrdin in a good mood.“We wanted to surprise you, Axel,” Myrdin smirked with happiness.“I know.”“Hold on a little, guys!” Nym warned us.When I heard that, I sneaked into Myrdin’s coat and held my body. Suddenly, the temperature became hotter than before. I felt that the heat would burn our skin. I came out from Myrdin’s coat because of the heat.“It’s near the sword place, hold on!” Nym said with a sharp voice.“It’s too hot!” I
“Nym, look out!” I panicked when the lava man lost his balance and started to collapse. The lava man fell right on the same spot as the sword. Nym was swimming towards the sword and also reached it, but it failed. Nym looked up and swam around, turning back so he wouldn't get flattened by the lava man. The lava man was falling down without making a noise because he was made of lava. The sword was hit by him and flew away. I was falling down together with the lava man and my body was thrown away from it. I hit the invisible ground without feeling hurt.“Axel, are you okay?” Myrdin swam right through me and helped me stand up. “Yes, I am alright.” I straightened out my clothes while standing up. “Where is Nym?” I looked around and tried to find him. I saw him trying to catch the flying sword. But, at the same time, the lava man started to roll his body. I glanced at Myrdin, “Distract the lava man and I will help Nym.” I gave an order for the first time. “Got it!” Myrdin nodded and u
"What's that?" I asked curiously as Myrdin read the letter.Myrdin read it by himself before handing the letter to us. He didn't show any expression after reading it, which made me feel curious. Nym caught the letter and read it as fast as he could, scanning all the words without missing a piece."What is it?" I stood there with a lot of questions. Why didn't they express what happened while reading it? Is it good or bad news? I wondered about the whole situation. Nobody tried to explain it to me, and I was the only one who hadn't read the letter."Guys!" I shouted to catch their attention while waving my hands from below."Do you think we can find them?" Nym looked concerned about something, as I could see from his gaze to Myrdin."I don't know, but we must try." Myrdin nodded his head with faith.I felt like a stupid donkey around them. They didn't even bother to tell me anything about the letter. I really wanted to know everything, but I didn't think I had a clue."Guys, don't you
"Nym! Wake up!" Myrdin was trying to wake up his friend.Nym’s body was shaking so hard because of Myrdin. Nym opened his eyes with laziness while stopping Myrdin from shaking his body. "Hm, what happened?" He asked with his waking-up voice."Do you know where Axel is?" Myrdin asked while looking around, but he couldn't find him."How can I know? I just woke up," said Nym, straightening up his body."I can’t find him everywhere." Myrdin looked so panicked."Maybe he is trying to find a fish or something to eat." Nym was waking up and stretching out his body. "Don’t panic, he is an adult." Nym smiled. Myrdin listened to him and nodded in answer. However, Myrdin’s mind still couldn’t settle down. Myrdin and Nym worked hand in hand to clean up the place. The sun continued to show itself, but there was no sign of me."Nym, don’t you think it is too long for Axel to find us breakfast?" Myrdin asked while looking serious at Nym."Hm, I think so." Nym just realized that it had been too long
Myrdin's POV"Axel!" I called his name while walking deep into the forest.Nym was following right behind me. "Don't lose your step. If we separate in this forest, it will be hard to find each other." I explained everything to him."Alright, I will follow you." Nym kept looking down because he didn't want to step on something."Axel! Do you hear me?" I tried to call him one more time. But, of course, Axel couldn't hear me. We walked deeper and deeper into the forest. The sun was already rising, but from this position, I couldn't see it. The forest had a lot of trees covering the sky, which made the forest go dark."Myrdin," Nym called me."Yes?" I answered and stopped."Don't you think we need to decide where we should go?" Nym suggested it and stopped beside me."Uhm…" I started to think about it. "Yes, you are right." I looked around and said, "But I am so blind about this place.""Hmm, okay. So, let's just walk!" Nym looked so positive and smiled.I nodded my head and continued wal
"No, no, who’s that?" I asked, my body shivering. "Hey! Are you people?" Paused, "or a ghost?"The shadows moved and turned around to look at me. I stepped back one by one, but I did not run because I was curious. I was waiting until a voice could be heard."Axel?" The voice knew my name.I was sure it was Myrdin or Nym. "Guys, is that you?" I stopped and paused to listen carefully to their voice."Yes, Axel!" The voice screamed while answering, "It's me and Nym."I was happy, and through the shadow Finally, I met them again after spending the whole night lost alone. Nym and Mydin appeared in front of me and said, "Guys!" I hugged them, and I was so emotional."Thank God, we finally met you." Myrdin looked so grateful. After a minute of hugging, we looked at each other. "Are you alright?" Myrdin looked so worried."Yes, I am." I stared straight into Myrdin's eyes. "But I just met a rabbit. I thought she would guide me to you guys, but it was a ghost, I think." I told them everything t
