Days turned into weeks, and still, Gracia continued to beg. Each time Harvey saw Gracia, it was the same desperate plea, the same empty promises. It began to infuriate him, her persistence chipping away at his patience.

One afternoon, he was leaving his house when saw her waiting by the entrance. Her face lit up with hope as she spotted him, but all she felt was a surge of frustration.

"Harvey, please," she called out, hurrying to enter my compound. "Just hear me out one more time."

Harvey stopped, turning to face her with a sigh. "Gracia, I've heard you out more times than I can count. What more can you possibly say?"

She looked at me with pleading eyes. "We need you, please. The company has fallen apart without your expertise. You're the only one who can save us."

He felt his jaw clench, the familiar anger bubbling up. "You didn't need me when your family was ruining my life. Why should I help you now? Don't bother me."
