Rex was taken into a private room, giving him time to calm down.

But the entire time he was in there, all he could think of was how dedicated he had been to the NSA while his family was wallowing in poverty and humiliating conditions.

He clenched his fist, breathing heavily. He had wasted five years all for nothing. The Director betrayed him; the stupid fool was at the top of the list next to Chelsea.

"Chelsea! Director Peter Banks! Chelsea! Director Peter Banks!" Rex kept repeating to himself.

The door opened, and one of the agents walked in. He cleared his throat and spoke.

"Due to your good record over the past five years, the Director has decided not to press any charges," he said.

Rex looked away, showing no sign of being moved or grateful. The Director was nothing but a pig, a worthless piece of sh*t.

"Can I go?" he asked.

"Next time, you will not be this lucky," the Agent warned.

Rex walked up to him, "Tell that to your boss," he warned.
