Chapter Eighty-nine

Alistair woke up and sat up, he picked up his phone and dialed Layla's line, "Good morning Layla."

"Good morning Boss," she replied giggling.

"What's with the boss, please drop it, how was your night?" I asked.

"Her night was fine," Nathan replied.

"What? You guys are now sleeping in the same room, and on the same bed?" I was shocked.

"No, I just came into her room, to greet her good morning. Can't I sleep in her room?" He asked.

"Does her mum know about what's going on between the two of you?" I asked, the next voice I heard was that of Layla and not Nathan.

"No, I don't think I should tell her about it, it's not necessary," Layla replied.

I folded my left hand on my chest, "What do you mean by it's not necessary? She's your mum for crying out, she needs to know what's going on with your life. Besides, if you are going to get married, you need to get married to the right person.
