Chapter One hundred-Fourteen

(Thirty minutes later)

Oliver parked his car at the front of Cathy's apartment. He turned off the ignition of his car and also took off his seatbelt. He exhaled, before bringing out his phone from his pocket.

His index finger touching the fingerprint sensor, his phone got unlocked. Oliver tapped on the call icon, and he tapped on Cathy's contact. It rang for a few seconds before she answered, "Are you ready?" He asked with a cold voice.

She kept quiet for a while before she spoke up, "No I am not."

"What? You are not, what's taking you this long to get ready?" He asked as she sat up gazing at her apartment. "The dress I had in mind to wear got spoiled."

"Then get another dress to wear, and stop wasting my time," he blurted out rudely.

"I can't. That's the cloth I had in mind to wear," she muttered sobbing. That was when he discovered she was crying. "Are you crying?"

"Why shouldn't I cry? This is my best dress, do you know how much I got it?" She sobbed.
