Chapter One hundred -twenty seven

"Boss, Kathy just informed me she's currently ill. She won't be showing up at work today," Layla replied as they walked into Mr. Alistair's office.

"She's ill? Why didn't she call in earlier to inform us?" He asked as he walked over to his seat. "She forgot. If she didn't, I am sure she would have been here."

"Are you sure about that? You just got here, don't think you already know her. I am not saying she's bad or tricky. I am just saying you shouldn't trust her just like that," he muttered as he sat down.

"Noted boss," she replied, staring at him. "What about my schedule for today? What are we going to do about it?" He asked, gazing at me. Immediately Layla's phone buzzed, "What are we going to do about it right? I am on it, just be patient. She just sent your schedule layout to my mail."

"Great, please check it out. I want to be sure I won't waste any time coming to the office today," he muttered gazing at Nathan who had been silent.

"Nathan you aren't saying any word. What's going
