Conflict

Evan's gaze hardened slightly and he slowly looked behind Vera, only to see Jane standing there with an ugly expression.

“Oh my eyes. I thought this place was meant solely for shopping? When did it turn to a hypocritical show place?” She sneered coldly, her eyes eying Vera who was still in Evan's embrace.

Evan's gaze never left her and one could see the amount of disgust they held towards her. He was about to leave but noticed Christel and Harry behind her.

“What's going on?” Harry gasped.

Christel's gaze fixed on Vera who's back was faced towards them, then she stared at Evan. She gazed coldly at him but didn't say a word.

Evan noticed this then patted Vera's head lightly, “You can let go now, Vera,” He said.

Vera frowned but still let go of him. She grumbled and was about to yell at the intruder when she suddenly paused and sized Jane up and down.

“Who's this?” She frowned. She tilted her head sideways and was stunned by the beauty behind Jane.
