More casualties

“Excuse sir, would you mind coming to the police station with us for questioning?”

Evan stared at the cops in front of me and then at Matthew who was behind him.

His hands went to his pockets and he flashed the man a questioning look.

“Oh, pardon me if that came out the wrong way. I am inspector James and I'd like to ask you some questions if you don't mind,” He said and at the same time took out his card and showed it to Evan.

Evan gazed at it and nodded but still didn't say a word and this of course caused the officer to frown.

“May I ask what your names are?” He asked.

“My name is Evan,” Evan calmly replied. “If you want my statement as a witness to the suicide that occurred a few minutes ago then I don't mind, but I don't think I should be the only one that would follow for questionings.”

“What are you trying to say, sir?” Inspector James smiled then faced Matthew.

“I got a report that you were the first to walk to the deceased woman after she fell from the stairs. So I wanted to
