There was a black motorcycle in the back while four people consisting of three men and a lady sat surrounding it. Inside the truck there were two men,one driving while the other was well not really doing anything bringing the total to six.
Suddenly from one of the abandoned houses on the side of the road a tiger like monster suddenly jumped out with the intention of ambushing the truck. However,before it could even step on the asphalt,there was a bang and it fell on the spot having received a bullet to the head. Blowing the smoke off the tip of the gun,the shooter proceeded to place the weapon by his side while watching the number faces of his co travellers. As you might have guessed,the group was none other than Ethan and the five man group from earlier in the day. They were currently travelling together to the AADAF central base. Concerning the event that happened in the morning,Ethan still found it laughable. Although he was just a teenager,he wasn't unaware of what the lady was talking about. After hurriedly refusing her offer,he gave them a listening chance and decided to hear their story while giving them something to eat. It turned out that they were the survivours of the Iron axe settlement somewhere on the outskirts of Rockbold city which was Barnes city neighbouring city. Before their settlement fot destroyed,they had more than a hundred powermasters shocking him greatly. If the raisin camp had that much wiping out those monsters would have been a breeze. That was a force to be reckoned with! He wasn't even sure if the AADAF base had that much powermasters! Yet hearing that they were the only survivours,he was shocked thinking that there had to be at least two general tier monsters or at the very least a dozen or more commander tier monsters. However what he heard next made him both furious and angry. It turned out that their settlement wasn't destroyed by a monster but rather a human powermaster like them who wielded flames. What made him angry was that said powermaster actually told them to surrender to him claiming that he was an emperor of sorts. Naturally the top powermasters of the wouldn't agree to this and immediately a battle broke out. With their advantage in numbers it was too easy for them to take him down—theoretically! Sadly they weré mistaken as he killed them all in less time than it took to blink and that was all by himself! What puzzled him on the other hand was the descriptions given. He didn't know why but he had a feeling that he somehow knew this person. He had thought hard about it but couldn't find anything close to it. At the end of the day,after listening to their pitiful take,he decided to give them some food and water and some small knives to compensate for their guns which he destroyed. He was about to leave them to their devices when their leader,the female actually begged him to bring them along with him. He had wanted to refuse initially—and he did but eventually he agreed and here they were. Looking at the gathering clouds ahead, he broke out of his thoughts while gesturing at the sky. “It's going to rain,we better find some cover." ********* Pitter patter,pitter patter. The sound of rain drops falling on the roof of taurpaulin could be heard. The same went with the leaves on the floor as they also recieved their fair share of rainwater. Not long after Ethan decided that they should get somewhere to stay the rain started to fall. Unluckily for them since they were far away from the more populated side of Barnes city they weren't able to find a place to stay,thus they had to just make do with this tarpaulin tent. At first Ethan thought they wouldn't be able to handle it but they seemed to have much experience doing this as they showed no sign of discomfort. Ethan was in a tent of his own,the remaining two tents were being used by Sheryl's team. He didn't know how they didn't it but be couldn't help but wonder would Sheryl have to stay with one of them considering the fact that the tent could only take three people at a single time.. Shrugging,he shook his shoulders removing the thought from his mind. “I'd better plan the route properly. If am not mistaken the AADAF team should be leaving in the early hours of the morning. I should be able to make it there by afternoon” Since he was supposed to arrive there tomorrow he decided to make his plans today and soon he was engrossed in it. Meanwhile,contrary to Ethan's prediction that Sheryl and her friends would have to stay in seperate tents the opposite was the case as they were actually staying in one tent. Well not one tent exactly but rather two. The two tents were a model that was capable of being joined together to create a larger tent. The model was one of those family size tents. It seemed that Sheryl was already used to staying with the remaining guys. Inside hushed discussions could be heard. " What do you guys think about that guy?” When Sheryl asked this everywhere went quiet. The scene was a little bit comical as they all started at each other's face waiting for the first person to speak. Finally after a while,the guy that was the most proactive when threatening Ethan in the morning spoke up. “I think he should be very strong,as strong as the late vice leader.” “I also think so too." " Yeah,me too.” Nodding, Sheryl couldn't help but agree. The vice leader they were talking was one of the powemasters in their old camp. Alone,he could take on a general tier monster without breaking a sweat! Clearly,their evaluation of Ethan was already sky high. A look of intrigue found it's way to Sheryl's face as her heart raced a bit. “He is so strong yet he didn't use his strength to take advantage of me even when I gave him the chance. The next thing was how bright the room was and the fact that there were some communication equipment there. In fact there was a wall mounted screen that was showing a 3D map of sorts directly opposite him. It was like this place was never cut off from the grid. How was that possible?! Since day one of the apocalypse power had been totally cut off with all electrical appliances and gadgets turning useless. Plus this place was on the outskirts of Barnes city,in an abandoned military training base!Even if there was electricity here previously,there shouldn't be any here now. This however, further affirmed his belief that what was about to be said in this room would definitely be weighty. It might truly affect the continued existence of the Raisin camp!
