The room fell into a tense silence after Zaiden’s bold declaration. Mr. Randall blinked, then scoffed, a smirk forming as he leaned back in his seat.

“You must be joking,” Mr. Randall said, his tone dismissive. “That part of the reward was just to entice people, we don't really mean it. I will give you ten million dollars. It’s more than enough for what you’ve done. So, let’s be reasonable here. Take the money, and let’s keep things… uncomplicated.”

Zaiden stood straight, his expression calm but resolute. “I don’t want the money. I want Cynthia.”

Mr. Randall’s jaw tightened, his eyes narrowing as he realized Zaiden wasn’t backing down. “Young man, you are being absurd. This is the Randall family we are talking about, not some common household where whims are entertained. Take the ten million, or I will make it fifteen, but you need to forget about marrying Cynthia.”

Zaiden didn’t flinch, his voice steady. “Money isn’t my concern, Mr. Randall. I have saved her life as my part, and it’s her hand in marriage that I want. Do it as your part”.

At this, Mr. Randall’s patience snapped. He slammed his fist on the table, the loud thud echoing through the room. “Enough! You are a blind beggar, look how hagged you are, and you think you are entitled to marry into this family? Have you lost your mind?”.

Dustin, leaned forward with a smirk, his voice dripping with disdain. “blind doctor, Do you even hear yourself, Zaiden? Marry Cynthia? You’re barely fit to be in the same room as her, let alone think about marriage. You must really be out of your depth here.”

Fiona, Cynthia’s cousin, sneered, crossing her arms as she looked Zaiden up and down, “haha, Just because you happened to treat her doesn’t mean you have the right to make demands. You are still just a… a blind nobody who got lucky., you are delusional if you think someone like Cynthia would ever be interested in you.”

Zaiden remained silent.

Another family laughed, a cold, mocking sound. “Look at him, standing there like he’s some noble prince. You can take the money or leave with nothing, but you won’t be getting Cynthia do that before things get worst.”

Mr. Randall, now visibly irritated, leaned forward, his voice dripping with menace. “I’m being very generous, Zaiden. You don’t want to be on my bad side. Take the offer before you regret this.”

Zaiden finally spoke, his voice steady and calm. “I don’t fear threats, Mr. Randall. What I want is Cynthia. She deserves a choice in this matter, don’t you think?”.

Then Mrs. Hailey chimed in, "look, I am very happy that you treated my daughter, but take the money and go, my daughter is not Interested in you".

Then unexpectedly, Cynthia chimed in, "I am interested in him, just as you all promised. I will marry him. it is a promise you made and you should fulfill it".

Mr. Randall’s expression hardened. “What the hell are you saying Cynthia, don't you look at him, his clothes were all tore. this man is nothing, he can never meet up to your standard".

"Standard?, I don't care about that anymore, he saved me, cure my blindness and you promised to give me to him. don't betray him!".

Zaiden smiled, he didn't believe Cynthia would say that. maybe the cure of his blindness on the way.

"I think everything is okay now, she wants me also", Zaiden said.

"You better shut up, her opinion doesn't matter, She’s my granddaughter, and as long as she’s under this roof, she will follow my wishes. And I say this marriage will never happen.”

Fiona let out a scornful laugh. “cynthia being blind for a long time has affected her mentally, I mean, what can he even offer you?. Cynthia you deserve a man who can give you the world—not a… a broken blind man”

Dustin smirked. “Exactly. Cynthia is not mentally okay, you in this kind of family, God forbid".

Zaiden’s calm mask finally slipped, and a cold edge entered his voice. “I didn’t ask for your approval, boy. she wants me, so you all opinions don't matter.”

Dustin’s face flushed with anger. “how dare you talk to me like that".

Zaiden’s lips tightened, but he kept his voice level. “You all are the arrogant and dishonest people, but, just like I said, your opinion all don't matter, since she wants me.”

Cynthia added again, "Yes, I want him, let not prolong this".

Mr. Randall’s expression turned dark, his patience exhausted. “You are finished here, Zaiden. Either take the money and leave, or you get you bone crushed and get beaten.”

Zaiden straightened, his gaze unwavering. “i am not leaving!".

Mr. Randall smiled, "I like your courage then", He said then picked up his telephone, "Hello, come in here right now, bring 10 guards with you, and come and beat this thing out of here!!!".

Cynthia immediately went rogue, "What are you doing, you are going to beat my savior, I won't take that".

She wanted to stood up but her mom held her down, "This is for your sake, not in my life time you will marry a garbage!".

Then the door burst opened, and Ten angry looking men rushed in, with a long baton in Thier hand. Before Zaiden could know it, they had surrounded him.
