THE DEMON HUNTER??

Nick walked out of his room holding his bag.

He walked down the stairs and almost bumped into his uncle.

"Hey you're off". He asked.

"Yeah". Nick replied.

"When did you arrive home yesterday?". He asked.

"um. 5 pm". Nick replied.

"You came home by 4pm and vanished, where did you went to?". Harry said.

"Demon Hunter works". Nick said.

"Can you specification tell me where you went?". Harry asked.

"AMC and then Walmart Street to stop Drago". Nick said.

"You've started hunting". Harry asked.

"Yeah.. now have fighting skills so no more hiding in shadows". Nick said.

"when did you learn fighting skills cos as far as I know you're not a fighter". Harry said.

"Later uncle Harry, am late for school". Nick said and made to leave but Harry held him back.

"Am talking to you". He said almost shouting.

"What's its uncle why are you always trying to know everything about me like am a kid, am old to take care of my self, you lead me to the path of a demon hunter, fine but it doesn't mean that....". Nick was saying but Harry cuts him short with slap.

Nick held his cheek with eyes opened wondering why Harry did that.

He walked angrily out of his house and saw Mr. Frank Leaning beside his car.

" Hey Nick why the frown? It's too early to do that ". Mr. Frank said.

"It's okay Mr. Frank am fine". Nick replied.

"You don't look fine to me". Mr. Frank said.

Nick smiled softly.

"Hope your doubts Are cleared, whereas why are you here this morning hope am safe ". Nick asked.

" No you're not ". Mr. Frank said.

" So what's it this time? ". Nick asked.

" There was a mysterious disappearance of two boys last night and i need you to follow me to the scene ". Mr. Frank said.

" Really? You never told me am now an investigator in AMC". Nick said.

"You should join us there nick it'll be easier to know and track down the activities of demons". Mr. Frank said.

"Sure I'll be glad to help, am actually late for school and going to the scene right now.. It's". Nick was saying but he cuts in quickly.

"I sent a notice to your school that you're ill and going to the hospital for check up today". Mr. Frank said.

"Huh? But am not ill". Nick said with eyes opened.

"But you're currently ill, hop in nick and let's leave if you wish to go to school you can do that after the investigation". Mr. Frank said and they entered into the car.

He reversed the car and they zoomed off speedily.

They finally stopped by a street an alighted in front of an apartment.

Nick eyes stared at the cops as they placed a barricade in front of the building.

Mr. Squat over it and Nick did the same.

"Welcome Mr. Frank we've been waiting for your arrival". One of cop said and they shook hands.

"Is he with you?". He asked pointing to nick.

"Yes.....he's here to investigate with me". Mr. Frank said and he nodded.

Nick and Mr. Frank then departed into the building.

They walked through the building until they got to the Front of a door and it was pushed open.

Mr. Frank heaved heavily before they entered into the room.

The bed, mirror and some other object in the room was stained with black blood and a piece of flesh could be seen on the bed.

"Oh my God". Nick exclaimed covering his eyes.

"Acts like a man for once". Mr. Frank said.

"But am a kid". Nick objected.

"That's why am asking you to act like a man, seize the fear attitude". Mr. Frank said removing his hand from his eyes.

"But this is bloody". Nick said.

"And that's why we're here". Mr. Frank said.

"The two boys Morris and Jude arrived here by 7PM yesterday according to the security footage and they weren't found this morning but all this blood were found in their room". Mr. Frank said.

"And that piece of flesh seems it's from skin on the head, there are traces of hairs". Nick said.

"Good.. You're beginning to catch up nick". Mr. Frank said and Nick smiled.

"The security cameras showed that Jude left the room minutes later but with the way he walked it was crazy and immediately he walked out, the security camera seized working". Mr. Frank said.

"So now we suggest whether this is another demon attack or just a mere crime". Nick said.

"No crime is mere nick". Mr. Frank said.

"Whatever". nick replied.

"Well can I watch the footage?". Nick asked.

"Yes". He said and brought out Joe phone.

He played a video and handed it over to nick.

Nick watched as the door of the room opened and Jude walking out Jude. His head was bowed down and he Suddenly stopped moving.

The video went blank immediately.

Nick replayed the video and paused it where Jude walked out.

"Sir i need you to see something that you likely didn't see". Nick said and Mr. Frank walked up to him.

"Look he places his hand on the wall as he walked out and see the white wall it got stained". Nick said.

"Blood". Mr. Frank whispered.

"And here, look above his head on the door post". Nick said.

"The merged triangle sign ✡️, demonic symbol". Mr. Frank said.

"I think this proves that it was a demon attack". Nick said.

"But i don't think it's inferno, what if Jude is the Demon?" ". Nick said.

" No it can't be, there's some thing still fishy in this ". Mt. Frank said and the door opened slightly.

Their eyes turned there and saw Laura as she peeped in.

" Sir..we found out there was a camera in front of the apartment and might have captured Jude leaving the building but there was non, we calculated the time Jude might have used to leave the corridor and get to front of the building, it was same time a mysterious woman walked out and we're confused sir whether nick disguised as a woman but she doesn't look like a disguise ". Laura said.

" Let me have the video I'll get back to you ". He said and she handed over the phone she was holding on to him.

" Wow! You never told me nick would be working with us i thought he was only a family friend ". Laura said.

" He's joining us Laura". Mr. Frank said.

"Nice to have you with us nick". She said and Nick nodded with a Smile.

"Am off to school sir". Laura said and left.

Mr. Frank played the video immediately.

A woman in white gown could be seen walking out of the building, her hairs covered her face and her face wasn't seen properly.

"She's walking strangely like a ghost". Nick said.

"Hm. It's back nick i never expected her to show up so soon". Mr. Frank said.

"Who?". Nick asked.

"Demon Monica". Mr. Frank said.

"Monica? There are female demons?". Nick asked.

"Of course and they're the most dangerous". Mr. Frank said.

"took down Drago and here's another threat". Nick said.

"Monica is a demon who steals the body of people by possessing them into demons like herself, she's also called amphibio because of her ability to transform into any animal in the class amphibia like lizards and frogs which makes her looks harmless and she takes out her victims silently ". Mr. Frank explained.

" Am scared already Mr. Frank cos I see amphibians everyday ". Nick said.

" You have Unice, he'll always inform you of presence of evil but whenever she steals the body of a human Unice can't detect her because she becomes a human at that moment but the advantage you have is that she doesn't last in human form for long before transforming but one minute is enough for Monica to steal as many body as she likes, you have to be care nick, these demons are getting attracted to your school and i don't seem to know why so your eyes should be wide open, anyone suspicious try to make them angry, demons like her will Transform to their true form whenever they're angered ". Mr. Frank said and Nick nodded.

Nick, Glenn, Lance and Laura walked out of the classroom with some of the students.

" Vice City High School is quite partial, the boys haven't been allowed to play football but now they organized a training for the girls". Glenn said.

"And that's because you guys play a lot it's time for the girls to show what they got or do you still think we're weakling". Laura asked.

"i think...". Glenn wanted to speak but nick cuts in.

"Well i think you play better than us cause of the saying whatever a man can do a woman can do better". Nick said.

"Tell them nick". Laura said smiling.

"Stop trying to impress a girl in my presence nick. You're a girl and not a woman". Lance said and walked away.

"I need to break his tooth one day". Laura said angrily.

A teen girl walled out of the restroom and saw a woman in white gown standing at the corridor.

"Hey can I help you, who are you?". She asked.

"Hannah come closer". The woman said.

"why? Whereas who are you? How did you know my name and could you please turn so I'll see your face". Hannah said.

"Anyone who sees my face either goes insane or vanishes". The woman said.

"So funny... Gotta go". Hannah said and walked passed her but the woman held her back.

Hannah turned back and saw the woman's face.

It was filled with holes and blood dripping out.

Hannah screamed out loud but the woman grabbed her neck to the wall.

"I told you, you'll go insane". The woman said and open her mouth.

Her tongue turned into a snake and entered straight into Hannah's mouth.

Hannah shook vigorously until she dropped to the ground.

"I guess i need a proper introduction am Monica". She said and slapped Hannah's chest merging into her body.

After awhile Hannah opened her eyes and rose up slowly.

She rose up before walking away.

She walked out of the there and could see nick, Glenn and Laura arguing about something.

She just walked past them but Laura called her.

"Hey Anna are you going to the locker room to change your cloths". Laura asked.

"Yeah". Hannah replied.

"when did you develop a bass voice?". Laura asked but she only smiled.

"Okay then let's go". She said and turned to nick.

"Keep my bag safe for me". She said and handed over her bag to nick.

She turned to Hannah and saw something on her eyes.

"Hey your eyes are red did something get into it". Laura asked as she left with Hannah.

"Yeah.. Something like that" ". Hannah said as they walked away.

A piece of paper dropped from Hannah's back pocket, Glenn didn't see it but nick did.

" Hey bro i need to check on Lance and see if he can settle issues with Laura ". Glenn said and left.

Nick walked to where the paper dropped and picked it.

He made sure no one was watching before he opened our to read the content.

"Seems They're Back, Tricky is going to pay for what she did to my parent".

Nick Squeezed the paper and wondered if it was Laura that wrote it or someone sent it to her.

He made to leave but his eyes caught something on the wall above his head. It was the merged triangle sign ✡️, the presence of a demon.
