Chapter 31. Conspiracy backfires

"Well, what do you expect? It was me behind it. Since you decided to push me to the wall, I had to retaliate. You think I'd let you go scot-free for what you did and the humiliation you caused me. Because you found a lucky coin, you think you can taste it on me.

"However, if you're fortunate enough to get out of here safe and sound, you won't act on impulse again." Duncan said as he removed the glasses he wore, staring Daggers at Zachary.

It was already 10am and Zachary was sure that Maraya would be worried sick. She might have even called home to make enquires after unsuccessfully trying to reach him.

Furrowing his brows, Zachary responded. "You fool. You have just implicated yourself. Do you think that you would ever go free for what you just did. My grandfather will hunt you down. You have no idea what you've just gotten yourself into."

Duncan took a few steps back. He was somewhat affected with what Zachary just said. He was right Indeed. He should not have shown himself to him. T
