A wrong choice

On the drive to the other side of the town, Tony's thoughts were a jumbled mess. He studied the streets carefully, noting every turn they made and every stop they came to.

He didn't trust Vincent, not one bit. He was on guard, ready for anything that might happen. His mind was racing, trying to figure out who could have done this. Someone wanted his mother dead, and that was all he could think about. He was angry, but more than that, he was determined to find out who was responsible.

As they turned onto a secluded road, Tony noticed how empty it was. There was only one car parked at the far end, and it looked out of place.

"That's him," Vincent said, pointing to the car. "That's the guy you are looking for."

Tony's heart sank. This was it, the moment of truth. He knew he had to be ready for anything. His mind raced through a million different scenarios, each more dangerous than the last. But he couldn't back down now. He had to see this through to the end.
