Chapter 61-THE THREAT

Henry's eyes flew open coupled with a banging headache and tiredness from days of work when his eyes darted to where Hannah was supposed to be sleeping but the rumpled sheets and empty bed gave no sign of any other person apart from him.

Henry instantly was on alert, his mind in a jumbled mess,and unknown uneasiness crept into him. Hannah couldn't have left his house without a word to him and that hasn't happened before.

He couldn't deny how suspicious she had been behaving lately and how uninterested she had been with his plans, always jumping in to intercede for Tony and his counterparts. He had always given excuses for her but with his plan moving towards his end game plan, he can't trust anyone apart from himself.

"The secret room," Henry muttered to himself, reality creeping in and realization glowing in his eyes. He quickly ran down the hallway and dashed to his office with an unusual speed, his heart banging in fear.
