Chapter 66-The Deal

After a series of tests and treatments with the doctor trying all he could to restore Mrs.Lugard back and after she regained consciousness, it was finally time to go home.

"Miss Lugard, I'm afraid without the cure, there's a high probability that your mother might collapse again and the consequences would be deadly," The head doctor reminded Helen while they were getting set to be discharged.

"Thank you doctor, but is there no drug or injection that she can be taking that could sustain her or better still avoid the attack," Helen asked with curiosity and clear hope. She was scared of what the future might hold and the uncertain possibilities.
