Fifty: Attempted murder

Officer Redd sat down in the hospital waiting room with his cap on his hand. He nervously squeezed on it as his feet continuously tapped on the ground.

A doctor walked out of a room and officer Redd jumped to his feet and hurried to meet him halfway.

"Good morning officer." The doctor greeted.

"Morning doc, anything?" Officer Redd asked.

"Can we have a talk in my office?"

"Of course." Officer Redd responded.

The doctor led the way and officer Redd put on his cap and followed him.

A sigh escaped the mouth of the doctor. "Officer Redd, this case of that boy is more complicated than it seems."

"What do you mean?"

"This patient you brought to me, the man that hit that student, he had a seizure. Generalized seizure activity may be a presenting symptom of poisoning or a preterminal manifestation of serious toxicity. Seizures may result from a large number of drugs and toxins, such as INH isoniazid, carbon monoxide, theophylline, cyclic antidepressants, and salicylates. But this man has
