Forty: The death of an innocent
The phone kept ringing but the call didn't go through, Ivan decided not to call anymore after three tries. "She is probably busy." He muttered to himself. "She will call me back after seeing this." He told himself.

He threw the blanket off himself and climbed down the bed, his face scrunched as his head still ached. Picking up the golden cup, he drank the rest of its content and sighed then dropped the cup back on his table.
